Agree with this. Our neighbor doesn't do any maintenance to the outside of her house. It always looks like chit. Weeds all over her flower beds, leaves in the fall. She has this hyuge cherry blossom and doesn't clean up the petals. I'm the one who always ends up cleaning that stuff up because if I just do ours hers will blow over here anyway and mess up our nice clean yard. This coming weekend when I'm cleaning up all those petals I'll be cursing her the whole time. lol When I first worked on the flower beds/outside here last spring I was hoping it would inspire her to do something with hers. Nope! The house on the other side the people don't even live there and make more of an effort to maintain the outside.

My lot is under half an acre (like 0.42 or some chit) but I have a pretty big deck that takes up a good chunk of the backyard. Takes about an hour for me to mow and trim the front and back.

It’s probably around two hours between the back and front and the detail chit like trimming, that takes up a lot of time especially if weed whipping around the fence line etc.

That’s with good equipment too, not sure if you’d have a riding mower for half an acre with a large deck but I’m running a Deere S130 and an Echo trimmer
