You probably had it before as a kid. It's a bacterial infection so you probably don't have it RN. If you did, you'd eventually die if your body didn't kill it off. You might have Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome, which is different.

you can get lyme disease from ticks. it is a bacterial infection that can make you perpetually "tired" and have flu like symptoms for months at a time. If not caught and treated soon enough some people will have those symptoms for life.

I'm in California so Lyme is rare around here, but ticks are still disgusting. Also, if you can find it, try to get some diazinon (it will sterilize your yard of everything that hops crawls flies or makes webs)

Anything you can spray on clothes/body to keep ticks at bay? PERMETHRIN does not work I’m guessing..?
