After living a few years in europe and coming back to the states I find it odd how many people think its normal to just ghost. I had a girl I worked with for 4 weeks, she was super nice and friendly, agreed to meet up after she left our company. I send her a Happy New Years text and I dont even get a reply. Other new people I meet and make plans with will continuously flake or just not call back. Its bizaare. In Europe I feel like people are more dependable and open to actually doing things not just talking about making plans. When it comes to dating, even if a girl in Europe doesnt really like you, she will still have the decency to text back from my experience.

America is suffering from mass mental illness on many fronts. None of us are immune from it because it is baked in to society.
The way we live and interact with each other is NOT normal#11bangbang

ghosting is typically done by self absorbed sob's that are clueless to what empathy and selflessness is. Humans communicate, ghosting is proactive non-communication. It's basically unhuman. Ghosting is a form of assault on someone. Sometimes communication is painful and that's part of life. You don't avoid pain by ghosting. I have zero respect for those that ghost. They, by their actions are worthless pos that should be exterminated. If you want to end a relationship tell the person. That's all you need to do.
