Nothing occurring right now should surprise anyone. This is exactly what was predicted as the Russians were "being slaugthered" taking Avdiivka.
LOL
"This lion is the worst shark ever, it can't even swim!"
Evaluating a component of a combined arms system without the most important part of that system (air power) is exactly what I would expect from our Iranian "contributor".

You're the perfect example of a stupid American. I am actually surprised you don't come on your knees groveling with an apology. We discussed indepth how a war with Iran and the US would play out - and we have now seen everything I said come true.
Iran's offensive missile/drone capabiliites have changed the equation. Any strieks against Iran will be met with missile strikes that cannot be stopped - even by the most densely defended region in the world.

The Abrahms tank is just a very poorly designed tank - theres really nothing special about it. It has a huge design flaw in its power plant, it's also far too heavy for Ukraine.
American MIC corruption at its worst.
Your air power would be irrelevant against Russia, aerial supremacy would not be achieved and regardless drones will still destroy abrahms. Are you suggesting you will use an F-35 to shoot down a FPV drone? lol. Your contributions are just embarrasing.Last edited by PimpinisEasy; 04-28-2024 at 05:29 PM.

Literally everything Iran sent was shot down. Everything Israel sent back hit. Yawn.
Using a diesel turbine engine makes the Abrams fast, not sure why you think that's a design flaw.
The US has quite a bit more in the way of anti drone equipment than Ukraine does but the biggest advantage is that the US is generally able to dictate tempo with its combined arms capability. A tank sitting by itself waiting for someone else to attack it is always going to be at a disadvantage.Florida Crew as of 3/21

WTF? Why would anyone repost reddit...
For anyone who isn't a Soy: Abrams wreckage salvaged from battlefield by Russian forces.

lol you're an idiot. You shouldn't comment on military technology - it's beyond you.
Iran's strike on Israel displayed exactly what I predicted would happen.
Iran employed a kill chain designed to overwhelm American and Israeli AD & ABM systems with cheaper munitions, before landing their intended strike with more advanced missiles.
Specifically Iran use Shahed 136 drones, and Rezvan ballistic missiles as the cheap munitions to attrit American and Israeli munitions. This was a huge success - the cost of defending Israel was over $1.3B and cost Iran less than $20M. Iran then used more advanced balistic missils like the Emad and Khebar Sheikan to target their intended targets (two airfields), which hit succesffuly.
As I said any American attack against Iran will be defeated by sher numbers. We can overwhelm any defensive system you have, as proven by overwhelming the most heavily defended region in the world. It took the US, Israel, France, UK, Saudi, Jordan to fight only Iran's cheap stuff. If Israel messes with Iran we can send ten times the number of missiles and drones next time. Iran also didn't employ its most advanced ballistic missiles.
You even shot down a number of Rezvan missiles with SM-3. The SM-3 costs $25M. The Rezvan missile costs $50k lol.
As I said your systems are old and can be beaten. As you can imagine the order book for Iranian arms has gone through the roof; you will face the same response everywhere.
I am shocked you think Israel hit Iran, the joke in Iran is the Israeli strike killed 6 Iranians - from laughing too hard.
Itwas only a small attack for Iran - for you it pushed you to your very limits. The equation has changed.

Business Insider writes that F-16s arriving in Ukraine will face “the most serious tests” of their entire existence.
Previously, they bombed rebels in slippers and nightgowns. At best, they were opposed by outdated air defence systems. Now they'll face aircraft and modern anti-aircraft missile systems. Watch this space!
More American junk is going to get humbled.

Thirsty isn't a problem with US logistics.
Heat seeking tech is interesting but it doesn't appear that that makes it different from anything else. Meanwhile, fast.
I imagine those are problems for the Ukrainians, but again, not a problem for the US.
Russia has had Ukraine on the Run all year, with Ukrainian positions that have held for a decade collapsing.
Iran's only hope in a war with the US would be to wait for public sentiment against the wholesale slaughter of their people to create political pressure for the US to offer them an opportunity to surrender.Florida Crew as of 3/21

Lol the front hardly moved in 2 years and during that time Russia lost Kharkiv region and the biggest city, Kherson. The only recent "success" after almost half a year of fighting and tens of thousands of ruskis dying is a 12 km move from avdiivka...wow! Surely Kiev will fall any week now... Lol
And this move was only possible because of western failure to support Ukraine.
So far it's a stalemate with some incursions here and there but nothing significant.

Insert crying phaggy Wokjack meme.
At least you guys are finally reaching the acceptance part of the grief cycle. Only took two years of daily crying on a forum while hundreds of thousands of your boyfriends died. What's going to be even funnier is when you all forget about Ukraine when the first rapefugees arrive to finish the job Russia started.

American logistics are neither here nor there.
The reality is that since the Iraq war the world has changed. If the US used its tanks in modern warfare against a capable opponenet, the Abrahms will get wrecked.
They will be hit by drones and ATGM, just the same way they're being hit in Ukraine. If you went back into Iraq now you'd lose tanks at a very high rate - its not the early 2000's. Even small militias use tandem RPG (Like the Yasin) that can penetrate an Abrahms.
The world chas changed a lot since you last fought you just dont realise it yet.
