The Dbz creator who thrived in the ultimate brutal era of the 90s-2011, has died!!

The Dbz creator has died, nooo!! Atleast he created the brutal gritty epic metal infused spiked hair epic Dbz that created my whole upbringing. The tone was unmatched, fit perfect in the old era of pre 2010ish. I remember when me and my brother watched Furious Pete videos in 2010 and he'd talk about Dbz/lifting/devouring everything, the perfect utopia that basically all guys before had as a baseline without even bringing it up. As if it was 2nd nature. Ahhh. My favourite characters? Old Lssj Broly, Majin Vegeta, Ussj Trunks and Vegito. Oh man the soundtracks were amazing, back when Americas thing was all about being loud with explosions/metal/epicness. All throughout school I listened to Pantera, Vegeta's Theme Hells Bells, Dbz Destruction Vol 1 and Rock the Dragon. Watched Vegeta's gravity simulation training like 10000 times, the old Broly Movies 1000 times and random scenes just so many times, plastered on my brain forever.

Says he died on March 1st aged 68, basically a whole week ago! 1955-2024.




The guy who created an insane franchise that got guys creating epic amvs with metal in it like this. Bent nerds and even juiced spiked hair gym guys could talk about this, it was for everyone.



Everyone was super impressionable at the time. Most guys were making dbz jokes and acting agressive like this. Old bodybuilding forums had jacked guys asking if their physiques were comparable to Goku and the joke was that Ronnie Coleman made Broly look small. HAHA.

Used to spike my hair up with an A4 drawing that I traced on my bulky monitor and taped it in the bathroom. (It was of Broly Lssj at a certain sideways angle where his front spikes were to the side and the back spikes were over his upper traps. Did that for years and perfected it into my todays version of the Dbz Spiked Rambo cut I have HAHA). Mannn, the 90s-2010 era was insane. All the guys creating Linkin Park/Evanescence Dbz Amvs every hour of the day way back in 2007.

Miss all of that era a lot. Nothing compares to that. Was just talking about the YuGiOh creator dying, now we need more Dragon Balls to bring back the very man who created it all. Rip!!



There were so many epic designs out there. Ssj5 and Gogeta Ssj4 looked cool as heck. I can't find the one with Ssj 1 million, it was just a massive hair wave. See, a random video pulled from 2008 has Evanescence/Linkin Park/Drowning Pool in it. Can't even make it up, guys back then were just insanely cool at everything. Just the gritty raw brutal tone that doesn't exist anymore.

The crazy part to me was how brutal it was on the cartoon network channel. The gay **** on today's network is nothing compared to that. The "Rock the Dragon" intro was insane, just a metal soundtrack with people getting their faces bashed in. What happened I swear, stuff was nuts before a certain time. Rip!! Rip just like the YuGiOh guy not so long ago! RIP!!

Yeah he died in 2022. Was strange, but to me they've already created the legendary **** that made them who they are. Honestly, haven't read much about them in the past 10 years. Dragon Ball Super was nothing like Dbz because of the era it was created in.

YuGiOh is still huge with their whole card game stuff out in Japan. I just used to love the Duel Monsters series on TV. The character designs were flawless and it all had a serious tone that today just doesn't have at all. Miss it a lot.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. The gritty tone of it all, the fast pace along with the brutal epicness. I just don't get how this was created, only to find that the weird poofy **** that exists in the post 2013 world, well, exists.

It had a huge impact on guys even in their 20s back then. Pumping them up before mma classes, insane spiked hairstyles paired with vegetaesque physiques. It was so different. Now you see some pussy who has a pinky dbs shirt on not even knowing about the insane pure days of Dbz. Different world I swear.

Haha I remember me and my brother would play a game, we'd try to find the most extreme version of each race/image trait. (We had like 50 versions of these games.) So we'd try to find a Chinese guy with the most slanted eyes, the fattest guy with the most rolls, the ugliest or dumbest looking guy/retarded sounding name on a passport etc. THEN, it came to finding the blackest guy ever. Me, my brother and all our mates would scour the internet at the library looking for it. We always found this crazy serial killing looking basketball player and whoever found that picture won because his skin was really dark. Until we found MR POPO!! Haha, nobody could compare to his perfect colouration/level of blackness.

HAHAHA. Wish that humour still existed. That was just a random afternoon for us, just goofing around, not really caring since we knew nobody else cared. Just a bonehead mentality of clowning for the sake of it. Now people would blow a fuse at the very thought of a game like that. Eh, it was funny while it lasted.

I can't find the ssj 1 million video anywhere, damn, been looking for hours now :/

One version was a blood red version/contrast increased version of Ssj4 Gogeta with sharper outlines/more evil looking with egyptian armour. It was how I want to be designed, I remember it in my head very clearly. Fan made stuff from the 2000s. The other was the one we all remember with the Goku picture surrounded with an enormous amount of Gold hair haha.
