All that conformance is expensive as well. Friend's wife is Japanese and her dad is a truck driver. He has a uniform that he wears when he's driving, but appearances are so important that he puts on a suit to take the train into his job, changes into his uniform for work, and then changes back into the suit for the train home.

Yes, I've heard of this bizzare phenomena where blue collar workers will show up in a suit, change into their work clothes, work their shift, then change back into the suit and go home.


This is because no one wants to be seen as a blue collar worker while riding the subways, cause supposedly that's "shameful"...


Here's an awesome short video of the "Barakumen" of Japan aka "The Untouchables". These are ethnic Japanese people who work jobs deemed so low that they're no longer considered people.

Japan discriminates their own people based on their job and social status.

Japan is still one of the most homogenous countries in the world, they absolute refuse to bend to the same people that are destroying Western Europe and the US/Canada with mass immigration.

That is a hill they will die on, the most import thing to the Japanese is the preservation of their culture and to never become a minority in the own country and be pushed around by a bunch of ungrateful foreigners.

Honestly, their only options at this point are to figure out how to get the Japanese to start fuking and having kids en masse, or to have their culture destroyed and eroded by having their women bred by imported foreigners.

I like modern day Japan for the most part, so I pray they figure out a strategy for the former.
