2000 - 2010 IMO is either 50 Cent or Usher song like Yeah!. Music transitioned from the pop uplifting 90s music to more club music
Anyone who says Nirvanna Smells Like Teen Spirit for the 90s is a phucking ****ggot. That song captures the grunge Gen X mood of late 80s early 90s, but 90s in general were NOT grunge. 90s and going into Y2k was all about internet revolution, end of cold war, 'end of history', optimism type chit so LFO or Sugar Ray would be much better

Think you could do this for each decade though. 90-95 is much different than 95-00, which is like boy bands and upbeat hop
00 - 05 IMO would be Green Day, Blink 182, etc. type music. It is such a distinct sound that connects very closely to that era. Different than the 90s and the rest of the 2000s since.
