    Why isn’t my weight dropping?

Hello all. I am a 34yo male. 6’1. I have always been an on again, off again lifter. I have done body transformations in the past with good success. I started this new journey 3 weeks ago. I started at 226 pounds. I do a full body lift 3 days a week, incline 12 speed 3mph on treadmill 25-30 minutes, 5 days a week and make sure to get 10k steps each day. My diet is 1700 calories, 145g of protein or more some days. I eat factor meals for dinner and lunch is usually 1.5 cups of turkey chili ( homemade ), or chicken and zuchini. I rarely go over the 1700 cal mark. This past week I have gained a pound on the scale. I’ve only lost 2 pounds in 3 weeks, and this is the hardest I’ve ever gone as far as lifting, cardio and diet. I’m normally somebody who loses weight on the scale pretty fast. In December 2023 I went on a strict diet, got 10k steps in and jump roped and I lost 17 pounds in 4 weeks. I’m very confused why this time I’m not losing scale weight. There is no way I’m putting muscle on this fast. Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated, as I’m started to get very discouraged.

Give it 3 more weeks. By then the water will be done shifting around. After that if still slow loss you need to lower WEEKLY calories as at that point you're taking more than 1,700 a day on an average.

Appreciate the response. I switched my calrorie intake to 1500 and ditched the factor meals ( higher fat content than I thought ) and replaced with chicken breast, flank steak and salmon.
