I've lost multiple friends to suicide both in the military and out of it and I can't mentally handle losing any more.
- I've texted him daily for 6 years and get daily responses back but I haven't heard from him in a month. 10 days ago I told him if you don't text me back I'm calling the police to do a suicide check on you.
- He texts back and just says he's sad.
- He's self-isolating for sure and can't break out of it. He's normally a highly ambitious entrepreneur type so this is super strange.
- His dad left the family a massive amount of medical debt no life insurance plan and over 10 million in real estate projects that needed heavy investments and they all needed to be sold so they could break even so it's another headache too.
Should I just be patient and let him grieve or call him every 4-7 days or so?
