Got new job 2 months ago, went from a chill job working 7 am 3 pm to working like a slave from 6 pm to 6 am. I think I dun gooft lol. Even tho I have an extra day off I feel like I've aged 15 years and don't wanna get out of bed. Nicotine gets me through at work. Never felt this horrible even back when I was working overnights warehousing 60-70 hours a week while going to school full time. Am I just getting old or is there something I can do nutritionally?

- How many days off do you get a week?
- What is your diet like atm?
- How much coffee/ caffeine you having per day?
- How much sleep you getting and is it interrupted? (Needing to pee etc)"It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate:I am the captain of my soul." ~William Ernest Henley

- I would consider it decent but only eat twice a day now. Fast food only once a week (pizza. McDs, whatever...). I meal prep, normal fare is something like picadillo (rice, ground beef, potatoes, veggies and I've been throwing a dollop of whole milk Greek yogurt on top for protein/calories).
- 16 oz coffee morning, energy drink at work, coffee before I go to bed lol (srs)

Electrolytes could help…also may want to consider supplementing with magnesium and/or potassium. Would probably be best to get bloodwork done to check levels of different vitamins and minerals, but even without doing that you would probably benefit from extra magnesium. You’re asking a lot more of your body and I’m assuming haven’t upped your intake of all the crucial things your body needs to carry out those processes.
Many moons ago I had a physical job, and when I first started I was in a position similar to yours. Best thing for me at that time was soaking in baths of epsom salt. Just get straight salt though, and not the crap with all the fragrances and other chemicals. Your body will adjust, but upping your vitamins and mineral plus soaking will help you feel better faster.+positive crew+

- 4 days of 12 hours a week ain’t to bad brah definitely manageable
- diet doesn’t sound bad at all, could always try changing to some slow release energy foods like eggs, brown bed, spinach, etc.
- This is your issue brah. A coffee in the morning ain’t bad. But having a coffee before bed no thanks Jeff, if you have to have one before bed switch it to decaf. Energy drinks doe need to get them to fuk brah. Taken in dat much caffeine you’ll develop a dependency on them. Without them you’ll feel like chit and with them you’ll feel your new normal. Go on a caffeine break for a few weeks, you’ll feel like chit for first few days but after you’ll feel a lot better."It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll. Make sure you're getting at least 6 hours of sleep during your workdays. Like when you're working out. Sleep deprivation accumulates and adds up like overtraining. For days or weeks. Drink plenty of water. Sleep. And have fun. I worked out 6-7 days a week for 3 hours. Fulltime job and work. It sucks but it's a good life. It ain't that easy.

Thanks, I'll grab a bag of epsom salt from Walmart. I probably should be eating more, figured my massive dinners would cover me but apparently not. :-/
Yeah the caffeine is a little overboard, I've been wanting to taper off. Had it down to 1 cup in the morning before starting this job.
The trade offs will hopefully be worth it.-Virtue is its own reward
