    Can gym help with bulking?

I’m 18, I started working which loses me about ~2400 calories considering I have a fast metabolism and am skinny ( 5’9, 55kg). My thoughts were that if I started going gym then I would add even more calories lost, therefore making it much harder to maintain a caloric surplus to bulk up. Is this method of thinking correct and should I just eat and work without gym?

If you're trying to grow you should probably just go to the gym and eat more.

Without lifting you wouldn't be providing a stimulus for muscle gain which would significantly slow gains, if you wanna avoid burning calories just rest between sets and avoid going above super high rep.

Eat more calories per day, go heavier in the gym with less reps and keeping the reps slow and controlled is key
