I have like 7-8 friends but it's not a friend group. I know know each person individually. They don't know each other. For the 7-8 friends I know individually, I go to the gym, bars, get food, go to concerts, etc with them. But it's always a 2 person activity.
How do I acquire a friend group in 2023? I wanna be able to do things as a big group or hang out with many people at the same time. I want to be part of a big group chat.

You will only become friends with people who are doing the same things your are after college. So this is work, gym (doubt you do that though), sports, hobbies, etc….
You only became friends with people in highschool and college because you guys were forced to be in the same places for extended periods of time. Now you are an adult and besides work you are not going to be forced to do anything. So you should find some friends you work with if your lucky enough to not have a bunch of *******s in your workplace but outside that it’s going to take a lot of effort to make friends. Key to making good friends, just like any relationship is consistency. It’s hard and most people can’t figure it out. Also in college and highschool there were hundreds and thousands of different people in the same places. Now I’m the activities you do there are only going to be a very limited amount of people you see often so the odds you find a good friend is going to be much much much less then college and highschool. It’s hard.
It would be dope it there were still mens clubs in neighborhoods, kinda like the mob use to have back in the day where the boys would just show up and hangout if there was nothing going on. I play poker and that’s kinda what I do to kill time and have friends there but I never hangout outside of the poker room with a majority. Only a few.

My two main friend groups are old friends from high school and from my church
Try inviting your friend that you go out to eat with out to the bar with your other friend one night. Or invite one to the gym with your gym bro
I mean, just make your friends become friends with each other I guess**Georgia Crew**

I still have my old friends and family friends from childhood
Then of course there is church and my community down here
Hunters also have a hunting party that they work and make money with
And conveniently, the feds cannot discern between a "hunting party" and an active militia
Then there are my boys from the misc but that goes without sayingBeans. Cleans. Gasoline.

to me it's easier to find in rural communities as opposed to big cities because there your just a face and or number. in small towns you're more likely to be remembered.
found a friend group like 10yrs after HS but only because i took on a job i never had before. none of us hang out anymore but most of us stay in touch.Bills crew / Bud Light crew / extra onion crew / M&P crew / lcp2 crew / ap3 crew / Trump crew / mcdonalds app crew / cat-owner crew / Tin Cup crew / self-checkout crew / country music crew / RIP snails crew

First things first, be athletic, good looking, pleasent to be around and preferablly tall, ded fukin srs. Join a sports league with a sport that is co-ed friendly. Make sure you are good at this sport, in fact, if you are great thats a plus. Join the B team or play the Co-ed version. You want to make sure you are the best on the team. This will create dependency on your presence each week, thats a good thing. You'll grab up everyone phone numbers under the guise of "communication" during the season. Using these numbers, create the group chat for that sport. Be the person who offers drinks after the game and or any other activity. Once you establish that as a pattern, you know who likes you enough to do a second thing with you that night. Push to enter those peoples friend groups by asking about their friends and offering to "host a party" or "do a thing" together.
Only works if you are the best on the team, good looking, have enough money to buy friends for the start and arent cringy with texts. Its worked at a 66.6% sucess rate for me, srs, good luck.**Florida Crew**
