I do not recommend
Been feeling sh!tty for a bit, decided to test just for sh!ts and grins and I hit the lottery.
Still unsure how I got it.
I have been a bachelor for a few weeks and the last time that I was around anyone was on the 30th when all those ski bunnies wanted to hug Pockets, (i am never hugging anyone again)
Aside from that I have had Zero contact with anyone, the closest I came to a people was a snowmobiler that crossed the back end of my lake about 2 miles away.
The only other possibility is I got it from Amazon, I had a sh!t load of packages come in last week, I never had any contact with the driver, he just dropped them and I picked them up later. So who knows how the fuk I got it.
Have a great day ya'll

2 - 14 days incubation although can be more but that's a real outlier
Most commonly 3 days but YMMV massively
Could have been when you posted the hugging thread, "Omicron XBB 1.5" (sounds like something Elon Musk would call his kid)
It's so damn contagious now that you got it from all the hug-talk you started, then you have been spreading it here.
Either that or from the bird on your finger, or maybe licking the Amazon packages and hugging the delivery driver then kissing him on the cheeks (I've heard about you country living folk after you've been in a cabin for a week)
Get well soon!

Man that sucks, hopefully you are one of the people with a mild reaction to it because of your high activity levels.
I read that somewhere and think that it is protecting me from it.

Sell?? If he dies we can split any exercise equipment (or any cash) 50:50 between us. I'm not paying a cent, the of his stuff is probably junk and freezers full of departed dogs, bags of 2 year old bear intestines or some weird ****, maybe even one of his old neighbors
Don't even go looking just take the equipment and any cash and get out of there again

Well that sucks Pockets. It's definitely a crapshoot how people get it (or don't). My wife had it and neither of us didn't know it at the time (her symptoms were just lethargy and headache). Not until a few weeks later did we find out she must've had Covid because she tested positive for antibodies. She was even helping me take care of my 91 year old mother at the time. None of us (my 2 kids, my mother or me) got it. Go figure. Rest up man. Get well soon.

Been there and survived...barely.
Nutrition is the key if you had bad taste and smell of foods caused by the virus as I did, the resulting complete lack of appetite nearly killed me. My other symptoms were severe headache and fever.
For the first time in over 30 years, bought Protein Powder and pour it down the throat instead of solid foods. It worked but took me over three months to get my strength back.
Good luck that definitely you need, but no sex that you don't need until full recovery.
Take care, my old friend. *bow*

He followed my Gf's saga with this in November and if he has the same strain/variant he might be in bed sleeping for a while with a fever.

In my area, this strain is VERY contagious but not very harmful. We went to a party the week before Christmas, and my wife tested positive the next day. While at the party, she unknowingly spread Covid to me, my son, daughter, son-in-law, mother-in-law (who tested positive but was asymptomatic), and two others My wife ran a 101 fever for about 36 hours. Everyone else had 99.5 or so temps. The dry scratchy throat has lingered for much longer than I would have liked, and nearly three weeks later, I'm still dealing with it.

Yo MTP, brother, hoping you've turned the corner there and sending positive vibes in any event.
Covid can be like an ultra marathon with no discernable finish line. My wife has still got lingering symptoms since October.
Surely you'll put this behind u, but go easy for a spell. No doubt that your presence here is missed. Although a lot of the more political memes sometimes raise my pressures, but that's 100 on me, haha!
Oh, and this
