Are you aware of any meds causing gyno ? Since i started taking Spironolactone i've developed bumps under the nipple that caused minor Gyno, i think this is reversible by halting that specific med. Any input appreciated

Not aware brah. But it’d be good to know these kind of things. I mean, gyno is caused by an imbalance of test/estro so its say to say meds/supplements that cause those levels to fluctuate may indirectly cause gyno. I still think the main cause is puberty and genes. My other brother has gyno as well

Has my 4 month appointment
Right side looks good. Left side i thought there was a seroma (fluid) but the doctor confirmed that it isn’t a seroma. It’s just extra fat i have on my left side due to how my chest was asymmetrical to begin with and that it naturally “heals” that way…even tho at the very beginning everything looked flat and nice. I was scared he would say there was leftover gland but it’s just stubborn fat. I’ve lost 22 pounds since surgery. I see him again in a month. If I’m still not happy with my left side he can do a touch-up liposuction procedure under local anesthesia. Goal is to lose another 10 pounds. Of course, I’m lifting weights now too so that helps. nice. did you get the kenalog shot you were talking about? i had mine at 8 weeks post op, my scar tissue has shrunk and softened a bit since then. i'm getting sick of having to spend 30 minutes morning and night jackhammering my chest with the theragun
everything looks good though. for once in my life i can wear super thin underarmor shirts and look great

I had gyno surgery years ago and one side healed great but the nip still felt sensitive. I wish I could remove the nerve endings cause I hate feeling anything on my nips. The other side is a whole fuggin' story. It healed but I ended up with fluid inside(seroma) and needed it drained multiple times. Well, it didn't go away and it hardened. I dunno, it's hard to explain. I waited a year to fix it. The doc did it for free cause he feels he fugged up. I don't blame him though. My body was being a ****g0t.
Now, that side is concaved a little. LOL I don't work out as much as I used to, but I know it'll look normal once I do. Still sucks.**Texas Crew**

This was under general anesthesia. I was out. There are gyno procedures (minor) that can be done under local. I am personally scared of anesthesia so I’m glad that part is over and that any touch-ups will be under local.
Glad to hear! I’m glad you’re happy with your new appearance. Your first post in this thread was before you got gyno surgery and look at you now!!
My surgeon never mentioned that kenalog shot…not sure why cause I do have some scar tissue still. I should have mentioned it to him, but I mean he should be the one to bring it up (as the surgeon). Gotta keep massaging and theragunning away!
Do you have before and after pics?
Thanks man. New life definitely!
What did your surgeon do to fix it? Was it under local anesthesia?EL PASO★STRONG

Always go to a doc that will agree to remove the whole gland, and then do some sort of lipo around it to even it out so there's no crater.
any doc that says "i wont remove whole gland, i'll just leave a lil in lol lol, so that there won't be a crater" is just plain lazy and incompetent.
Also, they should have good post-op instructions on wearing your compression vest and avoiding too much liquid intake for the first bit after surgery to prevent a seroma.
Scar tissue should be prevented in the first place, and if it forms, you should be massaging it and also reaching out to your surgeon to get some sort of steroid shots, like kenalog, to break it down. Scar tissue is harder to treat later on and can become permanent.

Scar tissue
It feels like no matter how much I massage or try to dissolve the scar tissue, it doesn’t go away. I texted my surgeon about the kenalog shot, but no response. Just gonna keep massaging then check in with him again in 2 weeks for my appt

Complications? What complications? Scar tissue is a complication? Scar Tissue is very common, so is asymmetry.
Gyno is the gland that present regardless if you’re 2% bf or 30%. Lol. That’s the whole purpose of this surgery — to remove that gland. It doesn’t matter how lean you are, puffy nips (caused by the gland) don’t go away.
I’ve lost 23 pounds since surgery.EL PASO★STRONG
