Yeah but there is not giving a phuck then there is straight up being chit at talking to people to the point where things always seem to escalate unnecessarily and people get pissed off and hate to deal with them. A lot of old people seem to fall into the latter category eventually.

Imagine a lifetime of that and not having enough positivity in your life or a personality to rise above. They’ve lost tolerance and I can see why. I feel like I can relate, even though I am not that old.
I hate people more with each day. Each day I meet people who are just plain stupid, the more I learn the more I want to isolate myself. I'd rather spend my own time on myself and my loved ones instead of dealing with people's stupidity. I've become a sarcastic piece of **** but that's just who I am.
I have my field of interest, whether it's politics, history, space, religion and whatever else but who do you even talk to about that? I mean, billion of potatos out there still believe in some fairytales, can't use logic and common sense to resolve simple conflicts because of how stupid and backward they are or have no interest in anything significant beyond their daily potato routines. I find myself to be more interested and engaged with YouTube, watching actual intelligent people discuss grand ideas, that is certainly more interesting than dealing with an average human potato.

Basically, what I am saying is fuk socializing for the sake of it. I don't require attention from people to fulfill my life (beyond your loves ones). I think with age you just get grumpier. I am not even old but I know them feels already.

SRS. I've seen my own generation first hand. Less competition than ever. Also, I find most
old people easier to talk to and more sociable contrary to op. They are always the ones starting conversations in the gym with everyone in my experience.

Its true but the demographic in my experience is specifically white male older than 65.

Mostly everyone I encounter is nice but the number of straight up a holes in that demographic is significantly higher. In fact I encounter more grumpy old men than all karens, douchebags, meatheads combined. Honestly think it is a hormone imbalance as men age they lose test and estrogen increases and theyre not equipped to deal with it emotionally.
