IMO inflation will help a wagie a lot more than the elites. That's because most of the wealth of an average wagie is held in a house, and most of his debt is held in a fixed-rate mortgage. Inflation will melt away that mortgage debt.

If you don't currently own and buy in now, I think you're exposing yourself to a monster amount of risk when this all melts down. I could see paper values falling 20% just on a minor rate hike and you won't have even scratched the principle in 2-3 years. Homes would need to run up another 20% from today just to break even.

Stonks and coins are more liquid, you can profit take from those and enjoy the fruits of inflation in the near term.
