If semiconductors are in such high demand why are stock prices of companies that make them falling?

Bought 1 AMD call Jan '23 77.5. Looking back I probably would've went 80 but whatever.
Bought 5 CRM May 21 2021 232.5 Calls
Bought more XLF 35.5 puts
Still new to options so I'm learning as I go. More mistakes I make the better cause I learn faster lol.
I was late to the party on OCGN and although it's not too late to buy calls, I don't feel like touching it at this price. I'm gonna wait for a pullback as I believe there's still lots of value (EUA soon? and restorative vision tech moving through the pipeline). I'm interested to see what price it ends at EoY.

Like I mentioned before why aren't we all just buying puts.
I'm gonna start buying puts instead of selling calls. Better returns and safety
Since I am still in the process of liquidating positions.I used to have an AVI of my traps and neck. I changed it a while back and tried editing my user title but this website is glitched and it will not let me change it anymore.

Your post is confusing...
There is zero risk/safety concerns with selling calls, just capped profit.
Not sure how buying puts is "Safe" aside from knowing what your max loss would be.
If you're in the process of liquidating, why not sell super aggressive calls?
And why would you buy puts as "safety" if you're liquidating?"It won't get better, just different."

go find new NVDA graphics card in stock/ AMD cpu etc
demand is off the charts and they can't deliver. (intel ceo said it will take few years to resolve this)
AMZN is down because many wanted stock split. its very hard to trade options on amazon when they are expensive.
plus if fed printing is on way out you want to be invested in things that actually have profit now and cash instead of what they will do in future.
because it will expire worthless 95% of the time.
its impossible to time the market.
do what chino said above.
my strategy is to do nothing if we have pullback just buy stock on dip.
you can't lose if you're long
