Deed was done today.... Last of my deposits cleared...and had to make my last buy at 59.

Now it is sit and wait.... I think the next 2 weeks will be big. Already 'up' 2k on the entire purchase, but I know that evaporates in a matter of a few minutes of trading

But shocked to find myself taking this risk this far down the line....

I have a buddy messing with 'alts' and I have resolved that I dont have time to follow or research. And my goals at this point are still long(er) term (year plus)


So FREAKING mad I stopped buying at 12500 trying to keep my DCA as low as I could..... But even back then I had doubts. Over these last few months, especially with very real inflationary trends appearing, I am having more confidence in this.

Good decision. BTC will easily hit 72K this month.

History has shown that periods of stagnation like this typically end in a BIG breakout. The upside of the coming one being 100 to as high as 150.

Of course this may not happen. But there is a LOT of speculation of a very high break out looming and metrics are all pointing that direction.

This time I can say I put my money where my mouth is.

Just bought some (ETHE). Never thought I'd buy crypto, felt like doing something riskier than ARK.

Bitcoin will go up and bitcoiners will make money.

Ethereum will go up and ethereumers will make money.

But something else to consider: XRP is the chosen coin of the central bankers to address the liquidity crisis. It is faster (transact in less than 4 seconds); cleaner (no carbon footprint like BTC); and cheaper (much cheaper than ethereum - 10 dollars versus less than a cent per transaction).

XRP busted thru a critical level of 1 dollar.

Next resistance level is 10 bucks.

Imagine your fiat going tenfold on the first cycle. Then imagine tenfold and tenfold again the following cycles.

@NG, I bought a BUNCH of XRP back in 2017. It spiked to $3.00. I did not like a lot of the fundamentals of how it was run. Seemed like the 'owners' of the coin held way too much and were selling off 'cashing in'. But I guess that is no more crooked than 'normal' bankers.

It is a usefeul coin and at one time it was in play for a SWIFT replacement. I sold off all mine in at .3 (when BTC was still $6000) so I did pretty good considering . Would be the same as it being 3.00 since my transfer to BTC has gone up 10x. I am too gun shy now about most alts besides ETH.

Yep. I totally understand. It would be tough for me also (and was). The one thing that some non-crypto people dont understand (I am sure you do) is you can buy any increment you want. It is not like stock where you have to buy an entire share. I only say this because I had a friend who felt btc was 'too expensive' for him to invest in.

Good luck whatever you decide. There is still significant risk. I see growth the at least into Q3 or Q4. It may sell off and cool off with the BIG pop being the next halving in 2024. I am going long term.

I think the corporate money may keep the sell off from going too deep as the people taking profits may all get scooped up by large parties given the more favorable sentiment as well as the dollar and inflation pressures ever looming.

Jay Clayton also has ties to ethereum when the SEC sued Ripple. (Ripple will win, btw).

And the other thing to keep in mind is that China now 'owns' bitcoin since at least 60% of the mining takes place in China.

Make profit and don't get too emotionally tied to any digital 'asset.'

This is one ^^ reason why I convert my digital assets to real money: Silver, which is gold on steroids that is also heavily manipulated by the banks. One day it shall be set free.

In the meantime, let's all make some madgainz in the greatest wealth transfer that too few are willing to take advantage of.

Bloomberg article released yesterday predicting a 400k btc in 2021. (if it follows 2013 and 2017 patterns).

I think that is a pretty bold statement. My gut says 100-150, but the charts say what the charts say. I guess it all depends on how deep it can cut into gold's current allotment. I remember seeing prediction of 300k if BTC replaced gold in personal holdings only. (not taking anything from the institutional side.

As Christian I am dancing with the devil. And I am well aware of this. That’s why I have always stated many times distrust cryptos. And this is why I stack gold and silver. Because they are God’s money.

But here is something I already promised Jesus. Whatever wealth I acquire I will continue to serve others.

Not to toot my horn, but I donate eggs and veggies from my homestead to the local food bank. Because that’s the best I can do on engineers salary from a single income household. My wife doesn’t work so she can raise the kids. I also serve others by coaching for free - particularly broke college and high school students.

Imagine what I can do for others if I have the financial means. That is what I am hoping cryptos would do.

For what it’s worth, traditional stocks are also tied to the whole matrix.

In the end, it’s what we do that counts most.

Already starting. Passed ATH last night, now topping 63. I am hoping my 'skin in the game' move pays off, but still nervous. Feeling like 70-75 in short term is not out of the question. 100k within a month or so is what 'history' says should be possible.
