Da fuq?
You were simply asking questions here like's it's a legit source instead of looking for yourself? Strong attempt to save face.
The "evidence and facts" were all over the fukking place if you bothered to look, like I did of course.
Even Ted Cruz admits it was a mistake while you brushed it off as fake news because you're definitely not a retard.

Ted cruz is well known to be mostly worthless and incompetent, whose only priorities are serving his corporate donors and participating in the same status quo partisanship nonsense that DC is known for. Hes shown he pretends to care about his constituents only around reelection campaigns and mostly sticks to fox news to spread his political "agenda". So in that respect I cant fault him too much, at least he is consistent.
People shouldn't be too hard on teddy. But it is his fault for getting caught by the rabid media for flying out right now, you think he would have made better arrangements. Nobody would notice if he stayed in cancun for an extended period of time since he really doesnt produce anything of value and cant do anything to help resolve the issues at the moment. It's going to be the plumbers, electricians, firefighters, police, doctors/nurses etc that are going to clean up the situation. Same as always.

Fantastic. This will have implications. Bailing on your state when it's going through an unprecedented crisis instead of rolling your sleeves up and helping your community....yer surely that will end well.
Metroins is not an elected official, and yet he was delivering food and wood to those in need. So the "it's not his job" response is pretty silly.
This was a career limiting move on Ted's part."Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity"

Ted Cruz did the right thing by getting his family out of that ice box. I cringe at all the people mourning over the fact Ted Cruz doesn’t care about Texans. News flash: politicians don’t care about you nor should they or anyone else care more about you than their own family. It is up to each person and family to prepare for worst case scenarios where the government is too immobilized to act. Cruz realized how this would look as he left and he immediately returned to suffer with everyone else.
One must wonder if Texans invested less in windmills and solar panels and more in efficient forms of energy which were less affected by the harsh weather if they would not be suffering so much right now. Of course, there are many other things that should be done but we have to make more realistic choices and less symbolic virtue signaling.

Senator Ted Cruz made a top-secret trip on Wednesday to investigate whether Mexico illegally stole heat and sunshine from his home state of Texas.
Cruz said that he undertook the dangerous heat-finding mission because he cares deeply about the current suffering of his fellow-Texans.
“The temperature in Cancún is an unacceptable fifty degrees warmer than in Houston,” Cruz said. “It’s so warm here on the beach that I’ve had to wear a swimsuit and periodically douse myself in the ocean. It is an absolute disgrace, and it will not stand.”
“I intend to stay here until I get to the bottom of how Mexico managed to steal all of this heat and sun from Texas,” he said. “I don’t care how long it takes.”
News of Cruz’s trip caused members of Mexico’s Senate to call for the building of a wall along the border with the United States, because, in the words of one lawmaker, “They’re not sending their best.”

He should have never left, especially.....to Cancun. Cruz just doesn't strike me as the wisest person. His whole career consists of grandstanding, but not much actually gets done from him.
I think the Right only hurt themselves when they make excuses for him. He should have been home putting pressure on the Biden admin to give needed help to that state.6'3 Master Race

Why dont you treat both administrations with the same standard since you self-identify as a nonpartisan? Based on these interactions you are obviously not even close to nonpartisan

I am going to assume you are ignorant rather than idiotic...
Our natural gas providers freezing is the primary reason for the energy crisis. Anybody believing the windmill theory is incorrect. Windmills and solar outperformed expectations. I'm not bashing Nat Gas or the providers, this was an ERCOT failure to notify, prevent and manage.
https://www.texastribune.org/2021/02...rbines-frozen/
No, frozen wind turbines aren’t the main culprit for Texas’ power outages
Lost wind power was expected to be a fraction of winter generation. All sources — from natural gas, to nuclear, to coal, to solar — have struggled to generate power during the storm that has left millions of Texans in the dark.
An official with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas said Tuesday afternoon that 16 gigawatts of renewable energy generation, mostly wind generation, were offline. Nearly double that, 30 gigawatts, had been lost from thermal sources, which includes gas, coal and nuclear energy.
By Wednesday, those numbers had changed as more operators struggled to operate in the cold: 45 gigawatts total were offline, with 28 gigawats from thermal sources and 18 gigawatts from renewable sources, ERCOT officials said.
“Texas is a gas state,” said Michael Webber, an energy resources professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
