Peanut Butter bad overall?

Trader Joe’s Raw Almond Butter is fukking amazing and actually a really good price man... it’s like the perfect texture too. Best value almond butter in the game!!

TJ's just came out with a new organic raw almond butter. It's a little bit more runny than the traditional one and it's like $7.99 for 12oz. Unfortunately they only have creamy and not crunchy yet but it's still good

aflatoxin (a carcinogenic mold) is really the only thing you need to worry about if you’re worried about anything related to peanut butter...I think I had read that the usda tests for it and only allows below a certain amount.

I literally just saw that a couple hours ago at the “new items” endcap, they had salted and unsalted, but no crunchy so i passed.

Well if you go to Whole Foods or other fancy “health food” stores you CAN find some for $15-20 a jar. I have also bought $25/lb pepperoni and cheeses that cost more than that at whole foods.

The trick to eating PB is to keep it in the refrigerator so it’s harder so you can stack it on the teaspoon higher ’cause that’s how you gauge the calories, right? By the teaspoon?

I've 100% done this more than once tbh. Hell, during the days of my "extreme hunger" phase of anorexia recovery, I literally microwaved the whole jar and damn near finished the entire thing with a spoon.

So... true story... I would also pop open a jar, just spoon out a few bites real quick, then toss things like chocolate chips, cereal, etc, on the top of the jar and just eat it while mixing the toppings into the PB beneath it...

I think I like PB too much =o)

Another thing I would do (and still do sometimes now but to a lesser degree), is just have my bowl of oatmeal in front of me WITH the jar next to it, and i'll take a spoon of PB and then a spoon of hot oatmeal, so each bite is like 10g of peanut butter with a little on top. LOL.

If you use a celery stick the negative calories cancel out the PB calories, and you lose weight.
