Here's my lifetime of presidents summarized since I was born in 1980:
We had Reagan and then Bush for 12 years.
Voters "course corrected" with 8 years of Clinton.
Of course voters followed this up with 8 years of W., and then immediately turned around and gave us 8 years of Obama.
You see a pattern there?
American voters constantly have party fatigue and course correct. I'm pretty Conservative, so I wish we could have another Ronald Reagan. But that's beside the point. Everyone has to suffer through presidents they don't like. People didn't like Clinton because of his shenanigans, but what was the worst we got out of Clinton years with Gingrich opposing him? The Backstreet Boys maybe? I can't think of anything else. Conservatives hated Obama, but what was the worst we got with him? Okay, Obamacare, and it was expensive. But we're still here. And we're spending more money on stimulus with Donald Trump in office than we ever did on Obamacare.
My point is this: if you don't like Biden, just wait a few years. Quit being all bent out of shape about it. Things aren't going to fall apart because the guy you voted against is taking office.
And if you are old enough to remember the Tea Party, that came about as a response to Obama being elected. So get out there and vote in 2022 and 2024, and you can get the House and Senate back.
Course correct. Don't panic.

For people all worked up over Biden taking office... Don't panic. Course correct.

You do realize that Reagan was a patsy to Bush (particularly in his second term) and there is virtually no difference between Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush or Obama, right?
What fuking course got corrected? That only works if you play this silly game where (R) and (D) somehow matter and are different. Ie, not reality. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Stop with your logic and reasoning. We want knee jerk assumptions and outrage!

So you're assuming what? That current minorities and women will always vote for liberals?
I don't think that's the case. Cuban immigrants were Republicans. It's not like it's something innate in Brown people's blood that they'll vote for Democrats.
Politics are cyclical. People are people, and once people go too far in one direction, they'll come back the other way. And Republicans just need to learn how to sell it better imo.

R have a 40 year avg of getting ~30% of the latino vote(thats one hell of a cycle) and about 11% of the black vote and asians are even harder left voters than latinos, while the only group that votes (R) are a smaller % every election.
Math > feels
But I do understand why so many on the right falsely convince themselves of this notion....as it convinces you to stay on the sidelines and everything will magically self correct.

I used to post in this subforum a lot when it first opened fifteen years ago.
Now I remember why I stopped posting here.
People are too angry and they start attacking grammar and using ad hominem attacks when there's no substance to attack.
Plus some of them are from the United Kingdom and have terrible teeth.
Spoiler!

Yes it is.
This is all the same stuff people have been saying for years. You guys act like some of us aren't old enough to remember the cycles. Liberals said it about Bush. They made whole documentaries about it. Conservatives said it about Obama. I went through a talk radio phase when I was working as a retail manager. I heard about how Democrats rigged those elections eight hours a day every day after Obama won.
There will always be tampering on some level. It's like anything else. You can't 100% prevent any crime. This is no different. And rest assured when Marco Rubio wins in 4-8 years, they'll be saying the Republicans rigged it, just like God intended.
