No problem on that. I am pretty open in my journal and have had people in the past send on their best wishes as well as advice. You never know who might be reading that might find encouragement by something simple. Our family is fortunate as my son is on the high functioning side. Autism seems to span such a large and diverse group of children now that being on the spectrum can mean much different things from child to child. The saying is, if you have met one child who is autistic, you have met one child who is autistic. Each one has their own challenges and is very unique. 1 in 34 boys and 1 in 144 girls is the statistic in 2020 are diagnosed on the spectrum.
Yeah, the Peloton has you competing with people. I wasn't taking a "live" course but I did join a session that had 4 other people in it. I came in 3rd. The guy who came in first had a KJ output of almost 800. Mine was around 400. Talk about hauling ass. LoL.
Thank you Trent!

Great session yesterday Shane! Awesome vid of that final set. I was blown away by that and then you mentioned Baker hitting 185?!?!? I would be more than happy with your numbers anyway. Digging the garage scenery too. I always love checking out other people's home gyms.

Ha ha, digging the "old man deadlift bar." Might have to come up with a new acronym for hex deads: OMDLB. Anyway, I'd love to get one rep at that weight nowadays. Excellent job on that set. Working out in blue jeans and running shoes too? That's extra credit. Nice job Shane!

Wednesday
Cardi Yo
Peloton
45 minute zone ride. Zones 4,5,6
500 ish cals torched.
Good ride today. Sweaty coming off the bike. As for ranking on this ride, out of almost 13K people is was around 7000 or so. Right around the middle of the pack. I wonder how much better I can actually get on this thing. The people at the top are putting out crazy outputs.
Tomorrow going to run the Virtual Peachtree Road race. 10k and I will be pushing a stroller. I am going to shoot for under an hour as a target but I really don't know how it is going to turn out. I decided I am going to give the run walk run method a try and see how I like it. Plan is to run 5 minutes, walk 1. Though if that seems to easy I will adjust on the fly.
Have a great Thanksgiving American bros. Be thankful, even if this year sucks, at least we are still here to complain about it.

Nice job on the Peloton Shane! Nothing wrong with middle of the pack. 13K is a lot of people. Lol. There are probably some professional cyclists in that crowd and at our age, I'll take middle of the pack any day. Good luck on the 10K. I think our neighborhood has a 5K this morning but I'm not really on FB so I'm not informed on all of the happenings... Might just go outside and ask someone. Ha ha... Did manage a 3 mile run yesterday while pushing my son in the stroller and daughter next to me on her bike. It wasn't too bad, especially since she had to stop and take breaks on every hill... I did notice what felt like more forward pressure on my knees from pushing the stroller. Not wild about that but don't plan to do it very often. Anyway, good luck on the run and I couldn't agree more with your thoughts on Thanksgiving. Hope you and your family have a great day!

Thank you Trent. I agree I will take middle of the road as well. It’s still crazy how much better the people at the top are.
There are a bunch of local Turkey Trot 5ks around here as well. We passed 2 of them otw to the park to run. Lots of people out today earning the bird.
Running with a stroller isn’t that bad if are able to stay on paved paths.
Thank you again. Same to you and your Family!

Virtual Peachtree Roadrace.
10K
1:07 on the dot
1225 ish calories
Wet and muddy run today. The path in a lot of places was covered in water causing me to run around the water and into water saturated grass and mud. Pushing a stroller made it all the more fun. With this I hit a wall at about 4.5 miles.
Still happy to get it done. Broke my social media ban and posted some pics over on IG for Trent and Greg who follow me can see.

Great job on that run Shane! Sounds like brutal conditions for a stroller. Way to get it done and definitely great job pushing past the wall. That takes a ton of mental and physical strength. Hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving.

That’s it. My low rows I bought a loading pin that has a handle that you can hold. It’s marketed toward girls doing squats with but it works great as a low row handle. Great replacement for cable low rows.
Ate a ton yesterday, as predicted, and plan to finish off leftovers today so I don’t predict much of a loss by Monday.

Great job on the push/pull session and the Peloton ride. Loving the bench numbers as always. Yeah, I've managed to to eat over 3,600 calories for the last two days now and will probably tack on another today. More like Thanksgiving weekend here I guess.... Glad you guys had a good one and I'll be joining you for the heavy weigh in on Monday.

Thank you Trent. I have no idea how many cals I ate over those 2 days. My father in law dropped off a huge home made apple pie and I ate about all of it myself. My wife ate one piece and I think my mom might have had one piece and there was one small piece that got put in the trash but I refused to let anymore than that small piece go to waste.
Next week will be a good week for weight loss!

Sunday
Peloton Ride
45 minutes
418 KJ new PR at 445 minutes
611 cals
I am really liking the peloton. The bike keeps it fun by being competitive with others but also with yourself, which I find to be even more interesting. Crushed my previous 45 minute PR by a good bit. Additionally I have learned that the slider bars the trainers ask you to ride within are just suggestions. Scoring is done on total KJ output for the ride.
Rower is collecting dust but the bike is more fun to ride right now. I am sure I will get bored and put the rower back to use soon.

LMAO! Love that the rower is collecting dust. Hey, glad you're wearing out the Peloton. The rower would seem like torture compared to that, I'm sure. Great effort today Shane!

Decent workout today. I was hoping for more on OHP but it wasn’t there today. Not sure if it was the lack of sleep or what. I had a Deload scheduled for this week but decided to skip it as I am having surgery after Christmas and will have plenty of scheduled down time.
Early guy is on vacation this week so I am in an hour early everyday this week.

Great session yesterday Shane! Shoot, I would still take those OHP numbers. Lol. Man, if you and Greg are both recovering from surgery its going to get pretty quiet in here. Sorry the early guy is making you get up early. I felt dead tired when my alarm went off at 6:00AM this morning.
