Hey guys, so about two months ago I decided to become more devoted to my physical development. I have a calisthenics background so I incorporate that along with resistance training and do cardio every other day.
Here are some of my current stats:
Height: 5'9
BW: c. 125lbs
Chest: 34.5in
Arms: 12.2in (Flexed)
Waist: 26in
I don't go to the gym; so most of my workouts consist of body weight exercises and resistance training since I do own weights. My level of strength is pretty high for a person my size. Not really following a specific program at the moment, but over the past months I've noticed notable changes to my physique and my strength has significantly increased which I'm very happy about.
I eat about 2100 calories a day, sometimes more to compensate for cardio. Currently in a re-comp phase, which my body has responded pretty well too up until now.
If my progress does start slowing down significantly, or notice that I'm stalling, I'll evaluate the situation and decide whether I want to enter more of a lean bulk; but for now I wanna milk the re-comp, as I'm currently at the level of a novice, strength comes pretty easily at this point.
I will continue to update my progress over the following months and hopefully succeed in whatever I'm trying to achieve, and I wish you all the same!
Bellow are some progress pics that I took about a month and a half apart. (First on July 11, second was a few minutes ago.)

9/12/19 Update
Still sticking to the program! (Not an actual program). Although lately I've been feeling as if my recovery has been suffering more and more. I haven't been sleeping as much as I should be either. The re-comp might also be starting to stall..
Nevertheless, I don't plan on giving up and the rapid notable changes are quite motivating.
I've attached two pictures down bellow; one relaxed and another in a flexed state.
Besides the physique aspect; I feel like I'm getting stronger by the day. Started including tricep extentions as I feel like it's a lagging area. I'm a lot faster in the cardio sessions and just today I managed to cover 3.5km within a 15 minute time-frame.
I'll add a list of the exercises I do throughout the week if requested, but be wary because like I said, I'm not really following a specific program designed for muscle growth.
Once again, I wish the best for everyone in whatever you're trying to achieve and let's keep milking those gains.Last edited by MengShu57; 09-12-2019 at 06:31 PM.

Haven't posted in a while.
Here are some pics from 9/29/19 and 10/5/19.
My recovery had been suffering quite a lot lately, so I decided to slow down a little. Haven't been getting enough sleep either. Nevertheless, I do see progress, albeit really small because I'm still re-comping. Might decide to enter a lean bulk in December since it gets really cold where I'm at, and if I do I plan to take it slow.
Arms went from 11 to 12.5in in the last 3 months, which I'm super happy about.

So, it's been 10 days since I started my lean bulk. Taking things very slowly so my weight hasn't changed much if at all. Snow started falling so I might be doing less cardio from this point onward but that's okay. Even though I won't be doing as much, I'll make sure to maintain my hard earned conditioning somehow.

It's been officially 1 month since I started lean bulking. I don't feel like much has changed and my weight has remained the same which I'm okay with since I want to take it slow. But I have improved on my strength by a bit so that's some indication of progress. Might increase the calories by another 50 and monitor my progress over time.

I don't really understand your goals about gaining mass, what you are planning and doing doesn't sound like the best scenario for you. As I can see you are an ectomorph, and if you want any respectable mass you just have to eat a lot more. It will be always not so hard for you to get lean.
No regrets.

I'm going for a slim built look, and looking to minimize fat gain as least as possible. I understand that this route is going to take longer, but I personally look at it as a good method.
I'm still a novice and probably not training as optimally as I should be, not following any pre-written program either. Not going for a respectable amount of mass, just enough to make me happy. I feel like 135lbs at the same BF percentage should satisfy and whether that takes 1-2 years is okay with me.
Sorry if this comes off as me thinking I'm a know it all, but I can assure you that I'm not, maybe I am making a mistake who knows, finding out is part of the journey. Hope you can understand.
Nevertheless, I'm upping the calories slowly.
