Does anyone really believe that Alabama deserves to be in the playoff?
They got rickshawed by Clemson in the National Championship, and the LSU game was not nearly as close as the score indicated (Florida played a better game vs. LSU than Alabama did).

What happened last year has absolutely nothing to do with this year. Last year should NOT come into play when deciding the playoff teams.
I think they should be out of the playoffs right now, but they still deserve to be ranked 5 or 6. The game actually was close. They were mounting a comeback in the second half.
Florida did not play a better game than Bama, IMHO.

ewwwwwww weeeeee dis gonna be good!
Baylor is probably 5% chance or less to win out 13-0, but this will be fun this weekend! Gameday on the Brazos River!
Way too soon playoff Prediction:
LSU, Clemson , Ohio State, Oregon
with a slim chance of Bama, Georgia, Utah, Minnesota, or Baylor slipping it in da butt.Just trying hard to not be a fat sack-o-chit.

We all know that Bama plays better after a loss. They will smoke Auburn and will get that 4th seed for the playoff. Hasn't Bama won every Natty when they "skipped" the SEC conference game?
This also maybe a wild note, but since Saban is a master at football: does anyone think he intentionally sat Tua (for some rest) and lost the LSU game so he can have an extra week of practice for the playoff? Think about it for a second, with Bama playing the SEC Conference they lose 1-2 weeks rest. With a possibility of getting fcuked on the field. I'm pretty sure Nick is play tricks on us again this year.

Never. He hates losing more than he likes winning. He kicked an onside kick in the 4Q in that 1st title game matchup because the momentum was heavy Clemson. If you don’t get that, Clemson wins. We dominated that game except special teams.
I honestly don’t think Saban will ever get that final title win to tie Bear Bryant.-Ethering Kings Founder & CEO

1) There’s no way he intentionally lost. He knows college football can be crazy, and if the chips fall a certain way, they could be left out. Not to mention the possibility of another freak kick six and having no chance at the playoff. Plus, he’s way to competitive and wouldn’t leave it in the committees hands like that.
2) Just stop it with the “less rest because of the SEC”. Duke, New Mexico State, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Arkansas those are cake walks. Tennessee, SC...aren't really “good”competition. They’ve had one good team and had a bye week to prepare (A&M), and one really good team again having had a bye to prepare (LSU). Then they still have West Carolina to play (essentially a bye) before playing their only other good team (Auburn). Where in their schedule did they lose 1-2 weeks of rest? They literally had a bye before every decent team they played and they've played 3 teams with winning records- Southern Miss, A&M, and LSU. Only auburn left has a winning record. Lol. Schedule couldn’t have possibly been easier.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

he probably didn't lose on purpose but he has to know that he's still got a really good chance to make the playoff and not have to play the SECCCG.

If Oregon and Utah both win out, it will set up a Pac 12 championship game between top 6 teams. It would be really hard to leave the winner out of the playoff discussion.

If Oregon hadn't lost to Auburn they would have a shot at it and if USC had the same record and schedule as Utah they'd probably get in. The blue bloods always get preferential treatment and they'll leave Utah out. No way they get in ahead of a 1 loss Oklahoma or Alabama

Am I reading this right? You’re saying ANY of the current top 4 could lose this weekend? If so.... man.
Ohio State - Rutgers (OSU is a 52.5 point favorite)
LSU - Ole Miss
I don’t see either of those two upsets happening. Frankly I don’t see Clemson losing to Wake Forest either, but out of the 3 we know that’ll be in the top 4, I guess I’d say that game was most likely to have an upset. They’re still 34.5 point favorites too though.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

1. LSU
2. OSU
3. Clemson
4. UGA
5. Bama
6. Oregon
7. Utah
8. Minnesota
9. PSU
10. OU
Bama absolutely should be out of the top 4 because of them losing at home, embarrassed in the first half, and time at which they lost.

And Georgia should be? Imagine putting OSU in the top 4 following some of those losses to unranked teams over the past few years...
None of it matters, it will all settle itself. Teams 4-9 haven’t separated themselves. The only ranking that does matter is oklahoma at 10. I don’t see a route for them to get back in the mix unless there is absolute chaos.
