I’m 28 years old, male, roughly 275 pounds at 6’1”, and am in generally good shape. I train regularly, but usually heavy lifting. I’ve been getting into doing some cardio (mostly stairs and running)... And I’m pretty active, for the most part. Especially considering my size. I hike quite a bit, as well as disc golf.
But my resting heart rate has consistently been around 50bpm for years now. My “walking” HR is around 79.
I understand that the lower the heart rate, the better (usually). But is mine abnormally low for my weight/size? Is it something I should check out?
Thanks I’m advance!
