That is a good one from the late 70s IronCharles.
I also enjoy how Zappa would take musical rhythms from the time and turn it into complete satire. His doo-wop stuff is a perfect example, the musical rhythm is quality with very complex vocals (Roy Estrada was excellent Doo-wop singer) and the lyrics are dark or funny which made it so much better than those stupid serious love songs.

The song was called "Groupie" when first released in Dec. 1969. co-written by Bonnie and Leon Russell. Then it was re-released in 1972 as "Superstar".
