The way I look at it is Alabama, Clemson, OU, UGA, and even Auburn would all be favored in a game against OSU. That makes it hard to justify putting them in the playoff. OSU having two losses on top of that hurts their case even more.

I'm not mad at them getting in, I just think it's funny as an Auburn fan. We've gotten dominated by UGA and bama the last few years and the year we beat them they still make the playoffs.

I'm amazed it took this long. Once this started to go south as hard as it did with the schiano thing and then gundy, they should have called Les immediately. You hire Les as a 4ish year stop gap to stabilize the program and establish recruiting. Hire your coach in waiting (tee Martin maybe?) and then have them coach til Les retires which probably won't be long bc he's already 66 or so.
