Greatful for
-Picked up a pre-lit, 6’ x 3’ tree for $39 at Walmart. Perfect size for our little apartment.
-Proud of my big sister. She started her own support group, in her area, for women of all ages who are battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
-The light Friday traffic this morning. We were running a little late getting the oldest to school. Also glad there weren’t no any accidents becuse it was lightly sprinkling.

Today I'm grateful for:
-bird baths. 5 little birds were rockin robins in the bath this morning.
-Tough conversations with friends. The kind that leave you emotionally and physically wiped, but the friendship on firmer ground.
-God. In addition to God being God, the knowledge that patience and suffering are part of the plan, and a season for growth instead of oppression.++ Positive Crew ++

On 18/11/2017 I find myself grateful for:
(i) Coffee in bed - I've been training hard lately and tend to sleep in on Saturday morning. There's something so wonderful about seeing my smiling wife as soon as I open my eyes, and a steaming cup of premium coffee set on my night table. Feels on so many levels;
(ii) Local produce - I've had to travel a lot in life for work and other reasons, and there's something so nice about eating something from a local co-op. Just had a pomegranate from a local farm (organic) with breakfast and damn was it good.
(iii) Hiking groups - I can be lazy on weekends sometimes but I joined a local hiking group and sometimes it's nice just to have someone experienced with the local landscape guide you around a bit. Part exploration, part chilling - and good banter.
Enjoy your weekend folks.
