If you don't mind crashing in an unfinished basement, you could have as much room as our entire current house. Picture a nearly 2k sq ft basement with, I'm not sure I have to take a measuring tape to home inspection because I keep forgetting it or putting it in the wrong car, at least 12' ceilings.

WTF? In 5 days, you went from not even having listing photos taken yet to accepting an offer?

There's a reason I didn't lift between Wed and today.
Long story short: We've been looking at things online and doing drive bys for a long time, but didn't go with a realtor until recently
We just made the final GO decision and got the pre approval and started prepping the house like a month ago. Been so busy.Last edited by Farley1324; 09-18-2017 at 06:12 PM.

Yeah...there are several sites that you can combine with property/tax records to find out a whole lot. Like 99% of houses that technically meet your requirements can be crossed off by checking zillow/realtor + tax records + Google maps. Add in being close enough to do drive bys and it's just amazeballs how well you can narrow down the list on your own for free.
When we bought our current house our realtor took us to about 65 before we ended up with this one (and we did a months long wait on a short sale in there that we gave up on when the bank just didn't move on it so the whole thing was many months). Now, years later, that same realtor took us to 4 houses in one day and the one that was our online favorite that we saw first was the one lol
Some things drive me crazy though...so many listings show say a basement but zero pictures of the basement. Like, really? Is it that bad you can't show anything of it? Or they will list 5 bedrooms and tax records show it's 4 and there are only photos of 3 in the listing...there was even one listing with zero photos of the inside. It's like "do you even want to sell that house bro?"

Kraken, Size-On. Squat @9.5 or so, 13mm lever belt. No scale. Rest has been meh and diet has been worse. Still pretty pre-occupied with house stuff. Right outside quad up to/by hip is still bothering me on a daily basis. Don't know what's up with that, it's a spot that sometimes nags me from time to time going way back, it's been worse since right at the end of Texas Method, variable still, about as bad as it's been right now. Kind of odd considering how little I'm doing.
I Squat 365x6 exactly one month ago, but I think that RPE was even higher than today so I guess I'm mostly holding the fort down.
Trap Deads were scheduled to be 310x5x5.

No scale. 2 scoops CL white pipes, 2 caps blue star elevate, 200mg caffeine, 2 scoops purple wraath. 82*F.
13mm belt 150-170 press. Wrap right wrist. @9+ for 170x5, last cycle 8/23 was 165x6. CGBP all reps straight through and smooth. Index finger close to 1" from smooth/knurl transition. Complete ROM chest to bar from dead hang all chin-ups.
This felt pretty good and I could have done accessory stuff but took care of some other stuff in the garage while I was already moving around, sweating, and felt good/energetic.
I'm pretty satisfied with these lats two days/sessions, considering.
Thanks.
Things are still moving forward, looking at a close/move date in mid November, so a little ways out.

I know that feeling of tensing everything up when you start a rep, and it almost feels like you're bumping the weight to get it started. When you get tired like that, you realize how much of your body you use to do OHP. Upper back, core, glutes, everything works to keep you tight like a tiger. OHP is a badass lift.

Awesome man. I see you too were dealing with your shoulder but I couldn't go back far enough to find when it started cause the forum started freezing up. This forum is full of chit from the ads and who knows what else. I just got over an extreme case of some kind of "itis". Took some weeks off from pressing and did self rehab. Back at it now, smarter with more rows and getting ohp'ing in. 3x6+ squat/press, 4x6+ row and 2x5+ deads with auto regulate until I stall and then onto something else. Basically SS but with a tick more volume to keep it light.

My right shoulder is still a little bit wonky, squats and side sleeping being worse for it than bench but then regular grip bench doesn't help. Left pec strain is what really pushed me away from regular bench.
The older you get/more activities you do/longer you lift, the more you're going to (for most people) have to work around this or that injury or nag or strain etc I you can squat, dead, upper body press, upper body pull, some legit variation of each, there's really nothing to complain about eh

Yup same here p much. Not sure what or how or when it all went wrong but I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Just 5lbs at a time when I got my reps. I pushed through 185lbs 5x3 the day my left shoulder was screaming a bit and that done me in. Shouldn't have but I wanted that PR. I put so much time and effort into doing that little program I made up. 5x5 down to 5x3 and reset. Really straight forward. I just think it was from doing it 3x (heavy) a week and maybe going a bit too wide which might have caused an impingement.
Knock on wood everything seems ok. Low bar squat doesn't really agree with my left shoulder currently but that could be not being used to the placement. Other than that the pain isn't returning getting back to it here so we'll see what happens. I'm not even going pinky to rings anymore. Middle finger in the middle of the knurl and then on the edge of the knurl for CGBP when that time comes.

Right in the feels. I feel like I'm always working around or working through something.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm just glad my elbow waited until right after benching 3 plates to start acting up again lol.

Monday 220.0. Post Workout 221.4-218.4 (silly scale). 80*F. Kraken, Purple Wraath.
13mm lever belt both. Maybe @8.5 or so for both as well. 5 reps was my plan for deads as it's a decent rep number for the 1+, even though it's 15 lbs less than what I squat 1x5 last week. Could have done at least another couple or few reps if I was willing to push it but I should never do that on deads with this lower back history.
I didn't really want to do 325x5x5 and I didn't have time either so that will have to do.

New Cycle Numbers
Sticking to the plan, this cycle will be First Set Last (suggestion from 5/3/1 Forever was 3 cycles SSL then 2 cycles FSL)
Training Maxes up only a tiny bit.
+2.5 lbs Press TM
+7.5 lbs dead TM
+5 lbs Squat TM
+5 lbs Close Grip Bench Press TM
I should be able to get sessions in a little more consistently, and completely, this cycle than last. The goal is to get back to 4 sessions a week and get the accessory stuff (LTE, curls, leg raises, bands) in more often than not. The cycle after this will have interruptions again, likely, all the more reason to get good work in on this one.
I don't know how I will do the FSL, and it might vary by exercise or by day/week. If in doubt just 5x5, if I want it to be more challenging then 3x8, or if I feel like it and want to save time, a Widowmaker to a max of 20 reps (if possible).
