S&S The Great Candycopia:
Tbh, this is the one S&S flavor that first planted the idea of ordering in my mind. I meeaannn...hand-made, 1st rate, candy bars "generously" stuffed into a pint? Brb, in.
So let's start with what is least important here: the base. It's good. A true butterscotch flavor that feels "mild" in sweetness and almost "dark" in flavor when consumed along with the mix-ins. It tones down what could become cloying aspects of this flavor.
Now, on to the candy. Well, for one, it's everywhere: top to bottom / side to side. And we aren't talking about ground up bits that piss you off like Jeni's or Gelato Fiasco might do. Big foken chunks here. Graeter's type chit.
How about distribution? I recall Eric getting "mostly whoppers". No such issues here tho. In fact, the pint was mostly Snickers / Heath (even) bars and in a smaller proportion full sized Whoppers.
The Snickers have a complete profile: caramel, nougat, and peanut. Heath chunks hit you with a thick crunchy (but not overly hard) toffee layer. And, the Whoppers stay crispy due to a generous chocolate covering.
Will re-order next year and glad to have 3 more in the freezer. So far, PB&J is at the top but this one handily beat Rocky & the Brittle pint.

EDIT: I'm dumb
Bought it! Gonna order ice cream online for the first time. My Little G lineup will be:
1. Marshmallow Crispy Treat
2. Snack Attack
3. Triple Cookie Dough
4. Coffee and Doughnuts
5. Chocolate Milk and Cookies
6. Confetti Bday Cake
So when I order, can I request a delivery date I know will be home so it doesn't melt?Last edited by SOH11; 11-05-2016 at 06:25 PM.

Going off of lurk mode to give you guys Little G's 6 best flavors, for those of you interested in ordering:
Chocolate Milk & Cookies (10)
Triple Cookie Dough (9)
Coffee Toffee Caramel (9)
Vanilla Fudge Brownie (9)
Snack Attack (9)
Hot Chocolate (8)
I'd say her 3 "worst" flavors are Confetti Cake, Coffee & Doughnuts, and Marshmallow Crispy Treat.

signature select pumpkin pie
pumpkin-flavored ice cream with cinnamon & spice, cool whipped cream swirls and tasty pieces of cruncy pie crust
trying to tackle these different pumpkin flavors before they disappear from the freezers.
this one actually wasnt that bad. base was good and whipped cream swirl was great. i wanted more of it.
pie pieces were pretty nonexistent though.
hmm, might need to rescoop then..Iron & Ice Cream.

I know Erick reviewed them, but I had the Magnum ice cream bars this weekend. Those were really good. We got the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Sea Salt Caramel and I was impressed with both. Chocolate peanut butter obviously was better, but I wouldn't be upset with either flavor.
I have Talenti Fudge Brownie, B&J Chocolate Therapy, and HD's Mint Chip in the freezer waiting to be eaten. I've heard the Chocolate Therapy is good, so I'm excited about that one.New England Patriot

Just scooped Chocolate Milk and Cookies. Ooh it's good! I thought Marshmallow Crispy Treat was pretty decent. Was not a big fan of Coffee and Donuts.
I also enjoyed the Fudge Brownie, Snack Attack, and Triple Cookie Dough. You can't help the hopeless.

I don't know why, but I keep buying Talenti pints. Just finished their Fudge Brownie. With Talenti's lack of mix ins, it was basically chocolate gelato and nothing more. I did get the occasional swirl and brownie, but overall, pretty mediocre pint.

For those tracking macros, how do you do so for super premiums, specifically Ample Hills.
Originally I just called each pint 1200 and that worked for a while but as I hone in on my macros I am having some weight fluctuations due to the uncertainty.
For example my pint of ooey gooey butter cake wasn't even filled all the way and seems lighter than other pints that I know are 1200, whereas something as PB wins the cup would definitely be over 1200 due to mix ins.
Anyone have a good strategy to get the most accurate guess on macros/calories?
Want to dig into the munchies tonight
Thanks!

talenti pumpkin pie
had this before but first time this year.
still top 3 talenti.
just use something similar to that flavor.
for example, b&j's pb cup (1400 kcals/pint) or mcconnell's double pb chip (1280 kcals/pint) macros should be fine for pb wins the cup.
use little g's snack attack (1200 kcals/pint) for the munchies and dont stress.Iron & Ice Cream.

Any idea for ooey gooey butter cake? Ben and Jerrys RVC is 260/serving although that has a swirl but seems reasonable guess

My bad fellas.. Only short term! I took a new job and am getting settled in with a lot on my plate right now. I would give this one just a solid B. I don't think it was near as tart as other people stated, and I actually enjoyed it. I would say the flavor is definitely cherry dominant. I could eat it again without any trouble at al.. Somewhat like your typical fruit flavor of ice cream with a little bit of "smokiness" to it!

No idea. I'm sure she's constantly tweaking things. On that note, I'm expecting a package from her tomorrow. Seasonals?! We shall see.
The 2015 version was a 10. This year's was a 8 or 9 (My memory is poop. I eat a LOT of ice cream.) They're dead and gone now."Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain
