^Great video. I need to listen to that Podcast again.
The one with Jake/bigboy made me cringe so hard. Couldn't make it halfway through. My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

Wenning is like the only raw guy left that's still advocating using assistance lifts/variations to build the main lifts.

Agreed, Arn. The Efferding podcasts are by far my favorites.
And I don't know of a raw guy that doesn't advocate using variations or assistance. CWS only uses variations so far out from a meet, Dan Green does dumbbell stuff on occasion, etc.Meet bests: 450/305/545

I think that almost all the recent PowerCasts have been awesome. Stan, Wenning, CWS, Coan, Spoto, etc. I liked the Chris Bell and the Bill Phillips ones too. Not so crazy about the Bart Kwan / Krissy Mae ones though.

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Wenning is awesome. Been more or less using his training method since I went to his seminar back in May. He really advocates not using the same exact same exercise more than once in a month (even on assistance lifts), which is quite challenging for programming.

I really liked that video of wenning, and the podcast, watched both of them a couple times. Sounds like an awesome seminar DD, nice writeup.
I don't think I could ever train like that personally.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

I would get it to fit you right now if you're within 20 pounds of 260, as it will stretch out quite a bit.
Get it tight in the hips and legs and loose in the straps, and increase strap tightness over time. If your hips and legs are loose the suit won't work right and it will just ****in hurt.

Does anyone else feel like their upper back tightness/pain is from squatting? I squat the day before benching and have a pinch and pain at a spot where my rhomboids are, which I can feel radiate through my triceps and elbow. It definitely feels a lot worse after squatting... I think there was a Duffin video on something similar. I use a lacrosse ball on my back, but I'm not really sure if it's helping or hurting.
Any tips for warming up the shoulder blade area?I'm gonna make it

What made it even better is that he came out here to do it. Would say it is worth traveling for though.
Thanks chief. It is definitely a different style of training than what I was used to but, I figure if it works for Matt, it might just work for me. Hard to say how much progress I've made thus far though since I rarely do the actual competition lifts now.
Gotta call EFS. Got a pair of short light bands that are totally different tensions. Almost died when I went to unrack the bar with them on during bench today.
edit: EFS sending out a new pair with a return shipping label too. Excellent customer service.Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605

Crazy Russian PLers on vkontakte came up with this. Gelatin, plus BSN supps, plus ice trays = dessert.
637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

^^ I at first thought it was some sort of Reese's cup supplement and got really excited.
Praise be to Walmart for just now having 12 reese's cups for $1.

Doc said one of the reasons my knees hurt is my kneecap is twisted. Said I need to have a lateral release surgery done.
Any input from the fam on this surgery? I don't like this doc so I'm gonna get a second opinion before I do it.Best lifts in Compeition 560/350/650 and a 1560 total @ 290lbs
