Open Heart Surgery on May 26, 2012. My life goal is to educate and inspire other heart patients. Medical study for new heart patient drugs to start in January 2013. If you have a family history of heart disease please get your blood tested ASAP and your kids. It could save their life.

That's insane strength, bro!
You have no idea how much you just inspired me. Thanks for that. I was a complete newb when you kind of disappeared from the forums, but I always looked at your avatar and dreamed of having legs like yours.
Thanks again!!!
Haha, yes, you did, John. I remember your very first post directed at me. I started a thread about the 1,000# club and you responded in your true-to-form, smart alec way, lol.
You and Carlman were my first inspirational people. Funny enough, you were inspirational back then because of your physique, now you're even more inspirational to me because of your fortitude and never quit attitude. Like I said before, I look forward to a meet-up IRL one day. You da man!

Excellent job everyone! Reps where I can spare them. Snapped these after a chest/arm workout.
Gains are slow and steady these days. 182 lbs at the time of this photo compared to around 190+ in this pic I dug up from 2009, I think. Back in the gym 3 years and doing better than ever.
Been eating slightly above maintenance the last few weeks. Also hit a rep pr on deadlift the other day at 350x9. No video, just trust the estat... lolLast edited by Jbizzlechizzle; 06-26-2015 at 07:25 PM.

Thanks! I'm very serious about the deadlift. As soon as I did it I was kicking myself for not having a camera in position! I should have a 450 PR in the bag.
Lol, no offense taken! Thanks and good luck at the comp. I've almost talked myself into a PL comp next year, but I'll probably chicken out.My vids: youtube.com/channel/UCXYsnKrrmhI9oPzfzkn8NsA

Great shots and vids, everybody. I made a video of Squats at 10 reps with 315 this morning. I did not post, because I was disappointed after watching the video, that I did not go deep enough to justify posting it. So, for my punishment, I will have to do it again and try harder.

been a good week for me this week - maybe not fantastic in terms of what other on the forum achieve
but I have accomplished
2pps back squat for a double PR on Friday 3rd
3pps Deadlift for a single PR today, Sunday 5th , having failed this lift a few times over the last few months, I was extremely pleased to get it with my son present today

Nice work and technique, NG.
Looks like you lift to me. Everybody starts somewhere. Your work is paying off and the progress should motivate you. You might even cure yourself of diabetes in due course.
Nice accomplishment. Keep that going.
Looking good, BH.
Myth, extraordinary.
Excellent lifts. Keep up the momentum.Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.
