November 2 - TT run
I usually keep my long distance runs for the weekend. It never gets easy for me as I'm far from a born runner. I started running this summer to break that mental wall I've always had with running (I find it extremely boring and useless(. Funny enough, I started loving it for the mental clarity and my ability to build up my speed and distance.
It went like this :
2.5miles in 23:08min.
Nothing exceptional but good enough for a rest day.
Also did a bunch of pullups at home... Total count = 30
Diet today was pretty good... Lot of meat, veggies, protein shakes and coffee Made some lettuce tacos for dinner it was awesome.
Packed some food for work for the night shift... Mostly veggies to munch on. Working midnight to noon...this is gonna suck.
Overall a lazy day. I needed it as I was really sore.

November 3 - ME, S&C and BJJ
Tough day. Slept 4 hours after my 12hour overnight shift. Went to the gym, trained a bit, then drilled for BJJ and rolled for 60min straight (not timed rounds). I was drained. Skipped for 10-15min after with double unders here and there.
Deadlifts 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 195x3x3
5 rounds :
Ring rows x 7
Explosive pushups x 7
Dips x 7
KB swings 50x7
Total time = 7:36.35
Food was alright. Had a lot of veggies, meat and fish. Nothing fancy.
I feel tonight is gonna be hard at work as I am exhausted but I am looking forward to sleeping tomorrowLast edited by daYDreAmErX; 11-03-2014 at 06:15 PM.

November 4 - S&C, long intervals and BJJ
Sleep was much better and longer today. Went to the gym and BJJ after waking up.
Workout :
AMRAP in 8min :
Box jumps x 10
BW squats x 20
Total rounds = 5
Run x 800m
Recover x 2min
1- 5.5mph
2- 6.0mph
3- 6.5mph
4- 7.5mph
Actually did the 8-min circuit after the intervals. My legs were trashed.
BJJ was great. Covered a few techniques, mostly omoplata transitions, escapes and the 'Hazlet'. Rolled for 30min after.
Food was same as usual...meat, veggies, cheese, avocado, tuna.Government is for slaves

November 5 - pullups and BJJ
Slept a lot today. Woke up, had a few poptarts and took it easy. Did a bunch of pullups in the evening, about 40-50. After that, went to BJJ to drill and roll. The class lasted 2 hours and I stayed a bit to do jump rope after a break an extra sweat.
Food was more interesting today...meat, veggies, cottage cheese, mozza, poptarts and protein shakes.Last edited by daYDreAmErX; 11-05-2014 at 02:54 PM.

November 6 - BJJ private (teaching)
Finished work at 8 am and went to teach a BJJ private class. Warmed-up with 20 minutes of jump rope and calisthenics 30sec/30sec each. The class lasted an hour after that and I did all the drills and conditioning with the lady I was teaching. The class was really basic : shrimping, breaking the fall, having a good bridge, keeping sticky feet during butterflies, pummeling and wrist control, kimura from guard and kimura bump sweep. THe lady is around 240lbs so it's challenging training with her but she has a great attitude.
Heading to the gym in a little bit. Might skip BJJ tonight as I've been dealing with a bruised rib all week.Government is for slaves
