Y'kno.. part of me wants to see Kai win, just to see how many of his fan boys turn on him. We all know it'd happen

Photo quality is a HUGE concern. I will say he usually looks far better on stage than off stage, far from unimpressive but less impressive than what he brings to the stage.
Your sarcasm is actually correct, Phil's abs were shredded, they were actually leaner than Kai's. He was just bloated.

^^ looks pretty ****ing shredded to me.
I get that you dont like Phil, I get that you are mad Phil is still Mr. O, what I dont get is totally discounting what he has and the agenda you have trying to persuade other to hate/dislike Phil. Honestly, just let it go.
Everyone, let it go.4% shredded with striated!

Anyone have the link to the Evan Centopani photo shoot after the Olympia last year? I think it was that...or the Arnold. he looked absolutely peeled there.
Edit NVM, it was after the Tampa Pro 2013:
Maybe someone can help me embed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_vfwhmQjXw

I think one of Phil's bread and butter from 2008 Ironman through 2013 was that he looked amazing when he first came out on stage by himself wowing everyone with his conditioning and separation as he was hitting shots.
When he was being compared on a lineup through 2008 to 2011 he started looking bigger, fuller and more developed each year improving by a great margin. He also kept looking great by himself.
From looking great by himself and just good in a line up to--->looking amazing by himself and great in the line up
As of 2013, he started looking a little blockier in the neck area and also lower abdomen. In 2014, he looked decent in comparisons and when by himself during finals(i would call his prejudging his worst showing since he turned pro in the sense that he pretty much regressed not that it is worse than 2006 or anything lol). However, I just dont get impressed really anymore for him being the current Mr.Olympia. He has pop like no other and development all around but I think being blocky on a narrow frame actually started hurting him again for the first time since he first turned pro. Back then, he was just smaller compared to his peers but he was filling it up and he did a great job. However, now it seems like he overdid that a little.

I think going in to the 2015 off-season Phil should really consider maybe coming in couple pounds lighter than 2014 Olympia. I am not too knowledgeable but it kinda looks like a hernia in the belly button area. If that is the case I would get it fixed because it helped Shawn Rhoden and Hide a lot. With Wolf, it affected his training for a long time and altered his midsection a bit. Just an observation...Grainy hardcore religious slabs of thick dense muscle. So grainy that it hurts your eyes

He doesn't make him look like a child but the list of competitors Ronnie does not outshine is 0.
Did Phil look better at The Olympia than this photoshoot? Yes. Now imagine Kai had won the Olympia and had done a photoshoot like this one. Would there be as much negativity? No. It would be ok for Kai to not look as good as he did at the Olympia because anyone anti-Phil/pro-Kai takes any opportunity possible to hate on Phil.
You can deny it if you want. But deep down in those grapefruit seed sized balls you have you know it's true.Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.

But not as to why Ramy wasn't 3rd or even the WINNER when he is clearly the biggest guy on stage. So your post doesn't make much sense.
How about we simply acknowledge that it's only one of the criteria? If size matters so much to you, then just go around saying Ramy, Greg Kovacs, Paul Dillet, and Markus Rhul should all be Mr. Olympias. Heck, if that's the case, then someone could step onstage without bothering to diet and win because of the overwhelming size, right? Hope you realize how ridiculous that sounds.
Again, Phil held his own in size, though he was smaller. Meanwhile, Kai was nowhere near Phil's level of conditioning or proportions in terms of muscular development (though he has a better skeletal structure in terms of V-taper).
