Usually play at about 20 ping on EUW, the one time I played NA though I was playing with about 180-200.

I thought it'd be ok for me cause I used to play MGS4 online on EU and NA servers and NA wasn't laggy for me at all, but LoL is so much harder with 200 ping.

The worst I ever went on tilt was a 10 game losing streak. Started off by playing horribly, and lost to this utterly sh*t Ezreal. From there I kept trying to do revenge games to get the wins back. Ended up just feeding like crazy, doing risky as hell plays and losing to some pretty crap players. In the end, I played a couple hours and lost like 10 games and won 1, and felt like **** after. So yea take a break.

Usually if I start tilting in ranked I take a break then play team builder or some **** to **** around with. Then I go back to ranked

Alistar. Can headbutt their ADC away from yours when Leona initiates.

Thresh. A well timed Flay can cancel Leona's gapclose.

Lulu. Lots of poke pre-3 and good polymorph's (although if you're not careful Leona gonna destroy you, so I wouldn't really recommend this one).

It's usually the supports with no sustain or escape that get stomped (Zyra/Annie).

Yeah but decent adcs will position themselves the other side of me to Ali or I will wait until they are before engaging.

Again thresh needs to have constant perfect positioning otherwise no chance of flaying the engage.

Whenever I play a lulu it's just a complete stomp. No hard cc and her adc just gets bullied hard.

Weirdly I find Zyra a pretty hard lane as anyone - just does so much damage that if you don't play really well you'll just be constantly too low to engage.

Maybe I'm just naturally suited to leona as I always do ok to utterly stomp with her

the key to beating leo supp as a thresh is to save your Cd's. if youre playing aggro and throwing hooks, she's going to abuse your ADC all lane phase.

wait for her to engage and hook or flay her and let your ADC go to town.

if she's smart, she wont engage on you, and if youre smart you wont engage on her. honestly a good thresh vs. a leo is gonna be a stalemate, farming lane until someone gets greedy.

correct thresh play is to always be in position for the counter-flay when leona's E is up and they have any kill pressure.

It's not the hardest thing in the world to do. And Alistar is a massive leona counter for several reasons.

I guess you aren't playing against great support players or perhaps you're just a lot better than your opponents at support.

well theres multiple things going on in a lane but to liably counter leonas engage as thresh you just need to understand positioning

edit: also itd be nice if you memorized leona's E cd... leonas max W so you only need to memorize the first level CD for lane

also you do realize that ignite was the most popular support spell up until this last patch right? Just make sure that you use it BEFORE the adc heals, cuz it reduces it by 50%

Depends who you're against. Like a Leo, Blitz or Thresh play passive until they engage so you can peel for your ADC. Other lanes you can try to engage but its pretty hard to as Ali unless you can do WQ reliably or you know their ADC doesn't have flash up. If they don't have flash and no gap closer I usually flash Q then knock em back with W, pretty much a guaranteed kill.

100% depends on the lane matchup... but against babysit supports an all in level 2 is usually the way to go.

Alistar is great for his post-lane abilities though anyway.

Been spamming nothing but Nasus recently. IDK why but I find trying to survive his early game so fun, it's like a game in itself. Also there's the odd game where the enemy picks a champ that can't bully you, or doesn't know you have to shut down Nasus early and just lets you free farm 500 stacks by 20 mins. I went 16-9 as ADC. I always have to carry my chit hole team.

I just got to Plat 5 adc main, and I lag (150-300 ping) in a good 25% of my games. You just aren't carrying hard enough if you got time to complain about how bad your teammates are. Scores alone doesn't indicate how good your team play is, all it says is that you are good at killing/stealing.

On one of my promo games I was 1/4 adc due to repeated 4man ganks into my lane *bot feed* and lagging. Our team score was 1/3 of theirs and we had 2 ppl screaming gg gg . I carried that game and ended 15/4 because I directed the team and told them how to build who to initiate and when to run from a fight and abandon objectives.

I think you might need to learn how to direct teamplay without (likely) raging into all chat about your ***** teammates*

And yes we won that game

as a disengage support you need to know the stats on the other engage support. In your case all you need to know is the cd of Leon as e au lv1, and the range of it. Always be in the position to be able to disengage when it's up. Playing disengage is all about keeping the adc alive to farm, and punish a bad engage.

I like using Janna and soak a vs leona, they both can carry/bait fights extremely well without ever having to kill someone
