I'm not a teen anymore, although I used to spend all my bb.com time here on the T Misc, but I thought this thread would be relevant and interesting because a lot of teens have severe acne (I did) and I figure some of you have to be taking Accutane too, or at least be interested in it.
This is last week's video and I have some gnarly acne not to mention this GIANT monster zit on my forehead lulz
Anyways, I thought this would be an interested thread to talk about Accutane. What your thoughts are on it if you've taken it, a place to talk about it if you are on it and a place to talk about it if you are interested but haven't started yet.
I'm on 80 mg/day, ask me ITT
Will spread reps randomly across this thread, bumps are very welcome

Tea tree oil works great too, drys and reduce's redness with immediate effect.. Not really a cure but an aid.
What can i say is share all the same feels as you OP although my acne isnt as severe as you, ive suffered a losing battle with this sh*t for years now.
Hope it works for you!The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.

Yup, I've tried EVERYTHING and none of it has worked. Damn acne genetics lol
That's awesome, hope the video series can help him/her out!
I feel your pain man. Have you ever considered taking Accutane before? I was skepticalhippo.jpg as well but then I decided to say fukk it and go for it while recording my progress to help others who were in the same position as me and indecisive.Bought this account in 2010 :D

My doctor wouldn't prescribe me as my acne isn't severe enough, also got really put off by the whole depression & suicide related stories.
Ive taken antibiotics and used many benzoyl peroxide gels, they all worked to an extent but as soon as you stop or miss a few days BOOM you breakout again so in the end i gave with different pills and gels and just did my best in drinking plenty of water, keeping my face clean as possible (washing, clean bed sheets, try not too touch your face atall) and using some natural remedies to reduce the redness of them. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.

Me too! That's why I am so excited about it! Thanks brah!
That sucks man! Yah, the depression thing hasn't and probably won't hit me but if you've ever had a history of depression it's probably best to stay away. The anti biotics and creams never worked for me either. Poor facial genetics
Hahaha I have before and they pup under the skin and get more inflammed so I look I have rudolphs nose on my forehead so I just leave them now.

Accutane literally changed my life. Horrible acne to barely any acne at all. And now 3-4 years later I still hardly get any facial acne. I get chest acne still but that's way better than face acne. Experienced knee issues and extremely chapped lips on accutane. Never experienced depression. So yeah the side effects blew but it was completely worth it and if my acne came back again, I would go back on accutane in a heartbeat.

I know you do girl, I'm doing 120 lbs db press, 355 atg squat, 405 dl all for reps of 8-12.
That's awesome man, I feel the same that the side effects are so incredibly minimal for the benefit. I'll be taking it multiple times if needed
Only a few months, was it just as severe as before?Bought this account in 2010 :D
