I have quite a few pics, but no where near as many as the majority of people on my FB. Dunno how you have 60 friends though.
I don't take my own pics though so the only pics I have are pics Im tagged in. Profile pic is STILL from highschool.... I don't even know how to do most things on ********, I only used it to scout out potential slams and to have a picture next to contact names on my phone so I know who people are.
Get away from *******s who make posts talking to girls strictly for reps...
It should be a bannable offense. Read someone's post and towards the end "Hahaha, I don't care about you anyway, I only asked you for nudez for greenz." "Huh Greenz?"
Seriously... sometimes I wonder why I even use this forum.....

The last time I got a speeding ticket was almost 5 years ago. I've gotten pulled over maybe a handful of times, and only got off with a warning once. lol I am always polite, but I think they can see the fear in my eyes. Don't know why, but I always think I have a trunk full of drugs when I get pulled over. Makes me nervous as fuk...I think they get off on it. Meh.
It's almost Friday...thank whatever's holy. It's been a stressful week...one of those that went so fast that it seems slow...idk.
What's the weekend plans??

The last time I got pulled over was December driving back from Colorado Springs to Houston in my new (to me) mustang.
With no plate (in CO it's common for the owner to keep the plates. In Texas, plates stay with the vehicle).
Made it All the way from Denver to Dallas before a cop finally pulled me over. He had a hard time believing I had made it 15+ hours through my drive without being pulled over, but in the end scoffed, said "good luck," and let me go. I pulled over at the next station and put an old vanity plate (REALLY old...expired '05) I had from a previous car on so it wouldn't happen again.** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

I was once pulled over (last time before last night actually) early im the morning on my way to work 6:30 am, no coffee yet. Dude was totes intimidating. 6+ feet tall, 240+ lbs. He talked to me the whole time holding his holster/gun with his hand... Like ready to go cowboys and indians with me. That was the most nervous I'd ever been and dude gave me a minor traffic violation. First and only time.
Being calm is waaayyyy effective. Projecting calm energy and all that stuff does have a good potetial for working. I truly believe in the "take a couple of deep breaths and imagine that he/she is just as afraid and just wants to go home as much as you" approach."The Way Out Is Through"

This 100 percent . Either you, your parents , the government or alumni (via scholarship donation ) are paying a substantive amount of money for these clAsses. It's legitimately stupid not to extract the greatest value you can from the opportunity. Not to mention its incredibly rude.
I promise those funny cat YouTube videos and the misc will be here after your lecture is over.

Never been pulled over. If I plan on speeding home I keep my eyes peeled. But if I do get pulled over my plan is what digi did - hands on wheel, calm, tell them I'm getting my documentation etc. Don't wanna be that 1 in a billion case where the officer thinks you're grabbing a gun and puts 4 rounds in your chest. Nothxjeff.
If I plan on not doing sh*t in class I just don't go. Or if it's mandatory attendance but the class is pointless (such as a stupid teacher reading directly off Ppt with no useful additional input) I will sit on my phone the whole time no fuks given. I don't respect professors who do that rather than legitimately teach and interact. I had this Chinese TA that no one could understand for my calculus recitations, but attendance was mandatory and there was a quiz at the end of class. My seat was the very front row by his desk, but I'd just put headphones in and watch Netflix on my iPad while he tried to speak English. Then I'd ace my quiz and leave.
But if I go and the teacher is cool and knows their sh*t I never take my phone out out of respect. I never choose miscing on my phone over getting an A in the class.Übermensch

In my Motor Control class, the lecturer doesn't seem to be prepared actually. Sometimes he'd just stand there for 15 minutes looking at graphs to try and figure out what it's about while whispering ambiguous thoughts to himself.
It takes all we have to retain our laughter lol.

I had a trigonometry teacher a few semesters ago that would literally do problems off a piece of paper that he said, "He had all the answers" on. Yet, every time he'd write something on the board he would completely second guess himself and/or ask us how we solved the problem and ask for our answers that we got. Talk about a non beneficial way to have to try and learn the material, I was pretty much teaching myself.*US Navy Vet*

Brah I don't even go to most of my classes and I'm on a partial academic scholarship. I still have nearly a 4.0 in the honors program and will run circles around the majority of my fellow students.
Lectures aren't always confusing - but I can learn what is taught in my 3 hours of econ lectures per week in about 1.5 hours through the book and my own knowledge of economics from reading. And I can learn my marketing and cost accounting much, much faster via the book than in those lectures.
I only go to class if attendance is mandatory or the professor can offer more than what the book offers and what I already know or can easily look up. For example, my audit professor was a partner at KPMG for nearly a decade and still trains their new employees. He offers real life examples and insight, so I go.
My time is valuable. I will skip class to spend that time reading unrelated books on finance, history and politics. And I'll still learn what was taught in class. It makes more sense than sitting in a class on my phone bored to death because the professor is repeating something ten times that I learned the first time he said it.Übermensch

Guys, I done goofed. My grades aren't that good this semester. I stayed off my computer and took legit notes for the rest of that class. I have the same professor for two classes in the row, so for the second class, I stayed off the misc and took legit notes too. I answered a question correctly. Feels good man.

My best was the guy that taught operating systems and network progamming. He was just an adjunct professor, but one that had IPO'ed a company so didn't really need the money and taught because he wanted to. I heard after I left he got teacher of the year. He totally deserved it.** KNEE DRAGGERS UNITE **

Can't wait to read this. FitnessBlue is one of the worst posters here. He's such a knobjockey.
I got pulled over for going 37 in a 30. I pressed my elbows together and smiled at the officer. He was the worst cop I've ever seen - absolutely zero air of authority.
Cop: I'm terribly sorry, but it's coming up that you have no MOT
Me: I'm on my way to the MOT garage now
Cop: Oh good, you're allowed to drive in that case. Off you go then**** Atheist Alliance ****

lulz
I've been a passenger when someone else got pulled over, but *knock on wood* haven't been pulled over myself.
One thing I get a kick out of is completely disregarding fed protective services/homeland security police. They have no authority to enforce state/traffic laws here outside of a state of emergency. Brb fps cop doing 80 (no lights, non-emergency, he's just speeding.) Brb doing 80 but keeping about 300 feet between us. Brb he slows down to about 55 (in a 65.) Brb I slow to about 70, then pass him. Brb he speeds to get in front of me again, then brake checks me. Brb my exit is coming up in 2 miles, so get in right lane, going slightly faster than him. Brb he immediately flashes his lights, but turns them off after a quick flash and speeds up again. He gets ahead of me by a couple car lengths, then adjusts his speed so we're side by side, and he blasts his siren for a second, then turns it off. He speeds up ahead of me again and brake checks me another time just as my exit comes up. Such a tool.
Normally, I just ignore them and go whatever speed I typically would... and generally, not a single fuk is given by them. Same with municipal cops who are outside their jurisdiction.Last edited by RandomMisc; 11-07-2013 at 10:41 AM.
