A merry bodybuilding Christmas!
Here is a shot of a couple items I got for Christmas (exchanged with my in-laws just last night). Includes a signed Dennis Wolf picture and training DVD along with the 2011 Olympia DVD (7.5 hours of footage).
I also got the following which isn't show:
Animal PAK
Animal Flex
ON 5 lb Double Chocolate Whey
Animal Wrist Wraps
Animal ARMS Training DVD
NPC Stringer tank
Golds Gym T-shirt
Black Ops II (PS3)
Scarface (blueray)
Needless to say all these goodies helped to dull the pain of last night's Sheiko session

Thanks guys!
I just played for about half hour tonight for the first time. Just campaign mode. It's pretty sweet. Will have to try during the day when the family isn't asleep and I can crank my home theatre up, because the sounds in that game are awesome so far
I had to take a 2nd day off today simply because my body was WRECKED from the last workout. The plan is to hit a workout today and then I will take 1 day off instead of the requisite 2, before starting week 2 of Sheiko #30. I also need to do some things to help increase my recovery (short of starting a cycle of gear )
I have some MassPort that I will likely start up in the next couple days - it really worked well for me in the past. I also have a tub of AAEFX's Karbolyn, which is a carb supplement that I'm thinking of mixing with my BCAAs for during my workout, simply because the 2 hour workouts are brutal.
I'm also trying to get things lined up for getting out to the Arnold this year. Waiting to hear back from my brother on whether he is coming so we can share a room. I know several guys from the boards here already have their hotel booked and ready to go!

THOUGHTS:
Of the 3 first week Sheiko sessions, this was the easiest, thank GOD! My groin/abs are still sored and weak from deadlifting 4 days ago. That workout still blows my mind as far as the brutality of it. Anywho, today is my son's 3rd birthday (he was a New Years Eve baby obviously!). Getting ready for a little family gathering and presents and then hopefully a short nap before ringing in the New Year. The whole family is planning on getting back to eating healthy, and I'm thankful for that as my waist has steadily increased over the last couple weeks. Everyone have a great New Year and here is to 2013 and everyone reaching your goals!

Thanks Bob - yesterday was a very busy day filled with cake, presents and family. My wife and son also made it until midnight to watch the ball drop
No gym today, but tomorrow it's back to measuring out everything and no more crap. I don't want to see another cookie or cake for at least 6 months at this point. Week 2 of Sheiko #30 looks to be a doozy. Time to CRUSH!

I think that I eated around 1.5 kg of various kinds of meat for the new year + a lot of other things, today made a power rack with my dad and grandad 5 hours of work worth off tomorrow will buy a 2 meters bar cause my dad can't squat with the 1.80 one(arms too big small mobility .-. 18 inches at 5'7'') and some 20 kg plates now I'm ready to test my 1rms :P, now as now tested deadlift 80 kgs x 10 reps so estimated 105 kgs =)
btw let's shred some fat and I think I'll contact you for joining team demon if possible =P I saved exactly money for 4 months of coaching

Thanks Dean!
That sounds badd ass that you crafted your own power rack. Hardcore for sure! My fat shredding days are behind me for now as I'm about 7 weeks into my offseason and don't plan to step on stage until 2014. That being said, once I get around 215 lbs I plan on doing a mini 4-6 week cut before continuing on.
If you wanna chat with me about your goals and potential coaching, feel free to shoot me an email at guitarist28@hotmail.com

Back on track
After a woeful few weeks of eating over the holidays (weighed in at 204.8 this morning), it's time to get my eating back on track as well as my sleep so I can better recover from these Sheiko workouts. I plan on dropping weight down closer to 200 lbs in the next day or two once I unbloat from the past few days.
Week 2 of Sheiko #30 starts today. Squats, squats and more squats. In for a 2 hour lesson on brutality after work. Wouldn't miss it for the world!

THOUGHTS:
Cruised through this workout with relative ease. While squatting 255 I did bang the bar against the uprights of the rack, causing me to get off balance and stumble forward. Hurt my right knee and hip a bit, so I racked the weight and gathered myself. Didn't bother me the rest of the way though. Gotta be careful I did add in some Mass Port to aid in recover post workout. Hoping that will leave me more fresh for each workout after only a day of rest. Until Friday!

Thanks Harry - ditto on 5/3/1. Once I stop pulling double digit gains in my PRs from month to month I may give 5/3/1 a shot. Assuming my body isn't utterly destroyed from working between 80-90% of 1RM all the time.
Thanks and same to you on #40. I got my eye on you!
Thanks Billy - good to see you back on the boards and logging again. I wasn't too close to breaking the mirror but I was very thankful I didn't hurt myself. Was aggravated I wasn't more careful when walking out of the rack. A momentary lapse in concentration, which can prove disastrous. Just about everytime I have had an injury in the past it could have been prevented by being more careful.
Off day today. Feeling pretty good and not too sore. Maybe it's the Mass Port I started taking or more likely the fact that I am again adjusting to an ever increasing workload with Sheiko #30. Deadlifts until my back seizes up tomorrow night!

THOUGHTS:
Great workout. The deadlifts to the knees did a number on my low back, but nothing too serious. I also added in 2 extra sets of bench with 225 just because I was feeling good and strong on bench. I also threw in 5 sets of barbell curls at the end of the workout. Off today and back in tomorrow to finish off the 2nd week of Sheiko #30 with a bench/squat/bench setup. Then chill and watching some playoff football!

THOUGHTS:
Made some modifications to today's workout. The last group of bench presses I decided to do a few extra doubles and worked up to 245 relatively easily, even after all those sets. My recovery this past week has been phenomonal. Only changes I've made is to add in MassPort which is a post workout formula and changed my creatine from straight monohydrate to Kre-Alkalyn. Not sure what the deal is, but I'll take it. Most likely won't take 2 days off as planned before my next Sheiko workout. Ready to destry some squats come Tuesday!
