Ok so I just started a bulk today and took some creatine monohydrate powder for the first time ever. I took 10g 1 hour before gym with an energy drink and just felt so weak in the middle of my workout. like I can normally curl 28kg (61 pounds) easily but today i was struggling to even curl 20kg (44 pounds)! honestly wtf is this meant to happen first time?! I got pissed off and left the gym but took another 10g with my whey protein shake. should i just stop taking creatine or what?

First of all, you do not need to load creatine. Just do about 3g daily. 10g is too much.
Secondly, how much water do you typically consume? Weakness is symptom of dehydration. Creatine at 10g plus an energy drink could do that if you havent had much water to begin with. Creatine floods your muscles with nutrient rich fluids (water), and you deprive your body of said water, it can cause cramping as well. I highly doubt the creatine actually MADE you stronger. A nearly 20 pound drop in weight is suspicious to me. And Im not saying that I dont believe that someone with your stats can curl 61 pounds...but I dont.
Creatine is a staple among the basic supplements and I do not believe you need to stop taking it. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water (at least a gallon per day), and see what happens. Especially if that was your first EVER dosing of creatine, and you took it pre workout, it probably wasnt even really absorbed in your system by the time to failed a 61 pound curl.Scivation/PrimaForce Representative

To drop that much weight is some other factors, not the supplements. Thats a drop of 30%. I could see maybe 5lbs or even 10 but for 20lbs for curls thats alot.
How was your food intake and sleep that day or even the day before? Did you party hard?
and 10g is way to much, all you need is 5g a day. And it should kick in about 2 weeks later.BPI Brand Ambassador

it said on the packet to load creatine for five days then only take 1 serving after that so thats why i loaded so much. and I got about 7-8 hours sleep last night and had 2 eggs and 3 small cheese burgers before my workout so i had enough protein and carbs. I drank about 1 litre of water aswell so I dont know whats gone wrong :/

Creatine is used as energy during your workout, it delays the onset of muscle fatigue. You probably felt weaker because of other variables (water, food, sleep, improper recovery, etc.) Creatine is one of the most researched supplements out there, with proven ergogenic aid benefits. Stick with creatine supplementation, you'll see a benefit.
