Just got back to the office after a lockdown and realised a colleague has been moved to another area of the company - 95% chance will never see her again in a work capacity, almost 100% since Im planning on switching job soon anyway.
Anyway we seemed to get along pretty well and I thought she was kinda cute. I'm figuring I should just message her and be straight to the point since she already knows who I am and what I'm about, saying now that we're not working together we should meet up for drinks sometime. Is that too direct or should I build up to that?
I guess reason Im posting is I doubt she has much if any idea that I'm interested in her, I try not to look at co-workers that way since it can make things awkward if its not going both ways. But figured now that she's gone I might as well shoot my shot.

Go for it. The only time I say it's a bad idea to get involved with a co-worker is when you have to work closely together/same department/ area etc. My company is pretty big and we have multiple buildings/floors/offices. I would absolutely date someone in a different department.
