    There are water filled bags. Advantages include:

    1. Cheaper shipping, since it's just the bag with no filler.
    2. More uniform pressure from top to bottom of bag. The sand or rubber filled ones tend to get firmer at the bottom.

    Disadvantage: If it leaks, it can get messy. Good quality ones should not leak.

    Can't recommend a brand, the last bag I got was given by a friend, but rather small too.
