They all had wealthy parents who propelled them into the upper echelons of the business world,And then you'll hear them boasting about being entrepreneurs who carved their own paths.

Notice how nearly all millionaires/billionaires came from affluent backgrounds.

Nm the "business" folks who came from nothing, we are just going to ignore all of the athletes, musicians etc that grew up poor and now have lots of money?
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!
The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.
They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Nah. Met a Cuban guy who moved to the US with absolutely nothing and became a millionaire be becoming an electrician and starting his own business. Most wealthy people I know came from dirt poor backgrounds. My girlfriend is a millionaire and grew up in an alcoholic household and would go to friends houses to eat every few days. Know another guy who grew up in an alcoholic household in inner City Detroit and just bought a Ferrari. He owns a house in Beverly hills and ocean front Miami now.... I know a guy who grew up in a poverty Louisiana town and owns a club in Miami and does very well... I know a guy who moved here from India with nothing and started a financial firm after college. He lives in a penthouse with it's own elevator in brickle Miami and just bought a new McLaren... I could keep going on and on. Your statement is untrue bro
I think a lot of middle class people are doing just well enough to be comfortable and that can take the drive out of them. Nothing wrong with being middle class, I'm comfortable with that. But you need a lot of drive and have to take risk to become wealthy.I'm 33 not 51

for regular people, learn to live below your means at a young age/invest/save/distinguish between want and need/recognize consumerism for what it is and the odds of becoming a millionaire go up. a lot of people don't mature and start adopting this until early-mid 30s or later. by then they've wasted 15+ years that would've laid the groundwork for getting there. some are so far behind they don't even see a point in trying.

This is bull****. Im a trust fund baby, working in the family office. Background in finance to get more experience, predominantly capital markets. Im exactly that, someone who will inherit and have had a very easy path.
Comfortably more than half the wealthy people I have ever met are self made. They often came from nothing. No handouts, no benefactors, no loan from their father or a rich uncle.
The reality is that joe average normie chooses comfort over risk. Outside of the tech sector there are very few quick wins.
