There are a couple of factors that have changed my strength, but I find it that it's only in 2-3 lifts.
I have a shoulder injury, I didn't see a specialist but one of the trainers who has a stretching class and knows all about the body says I probably tore a ligament in my shoulder benching & it'll possibly never heal because there is such little blood being exposed to that area.
Weight Loss - I started at 210 in the beginning of wrestling season.
My goal now is 184.
On incline dumb bells, I have no problem reppin' the 90's on a last set for 6-8 or even more.
When it comes to flat and decline however, I do feel the pain in my shoulder, not enough to stop me from going heavy, but anything relatively close to my body weight, like 175 seems to struggle me a little bit.
My max for 1 rep is probably 265-275 alone.
I was weighing 210 benching 310 alone, 315 assisted slightly.
As for legs, I've been doing parallel squats and haven't noticed a lot of strength loss, because I'm lifting for hypertrophy training, or trying to burn fat around the muscles.
I hit 235 x 8 going parallel for a 4th set.
My back strength has increased, and my shoulders have increased, being that I have a shoulder injury it's weird how it affects in only one motion.
I stretch my shoulders out a lot to help.
I do a Chest/Tri - Back/Bi - Legs/Shoulders Routine and hit every body part twice.
I hit chest the second time this week, am I just fatigued?
