etc etc
tribute bands still getting paid.
do people under 60 go to see tribute bands?
why do people go? is it bc 1/4 of the price? because you can hear these songs from a band in a club rather than an NBA arena?
i personally don't get why anyone would spend $30 to see a tribute band. i'd go for free if someone offered me a ticket but fuk paying.

I've seen a "cover" band of like 80's 90's and 2000's music a couple of times called Seventh Heaven. They are fukcing lame, but they play songs you want to hear and they change it up very quickly which keeps you entertained. I think the point of tribute bands is simply to see a live show of an artist or band you can't anymore because they are dead. I don't think I would pay to see one.
What are you on about mate?

I mean... it's 30 bucks... If the cover band is actually good and I like the music they're covering... why not? Some people like going to big venues, some like going to small venues, some prefer just listening to the radio version... who really cares?

As much as anything you are paying to hang out with a bunch of people who have similar music tastes.
