no one is starting at $100k unless its a nepotism hire, you're in a niche-STEM field coming out of a top school (ivy league), or MAYBE you live in NYC/San-Francisco.
I believe the national average entry level salary of a chemical engineer is around ~$88k .Reps to all BJJ/grappling/MMA bros.

$100k is laughable these days, not even sure I know anyone making less than that at this point tbh. If you're making less than $100k in the US you're doing it completely wrong
