New here, just looking for some insight. Any suggestions for calorie intake? I am about 5'8"-5'9", weigh 143 lbs, I'm told my % body fat is 14%-17% and that I should do some bulking before I continue to cut my % body fat.
I currently am on a very low calorie diet doing the 40% carbs, 40% protein (150g-160g) and 20% fat, lost 15 lbs trying to trim the fat. I lose about 2 lbs a week, sometimes more.
Someone suggested that I stop cutting fat for now until I have more muscle mass or would it be okay to keep cutting to my target 10-12% before bulking? I know I'm pretty scrawny but I really don't want to gain too much fat back and I hear you can't really avoid it while bulking.
