Olympic shoes help alot for lifting. Because they have the wooden soles therefore, the shoe doesn't absorb your explosion. You should add 5-10k on all these lifts instantly. Just a link for those interested...Im not working for adidas...haha...just figured maybe someone wants a little edge.

barefoot anytime ... 100$ for cleaner squats and snatch up ... cmon, unless you have money to waste then why not i guess

if you say why not lift barefoot you dont know about, nor have ever done (correctly) an olympic lift or properly deep squat. work boots, bowling shoes, dress shoes can work as was suggested above

My guide to buying olympic lifting shoes is to buy the cheapest pair of sports shoes i can find. From my experience the cheapest ones always have jack all cushioning which is perfect for olifting. I think my current pair cost me $10 and i use them to olift, squat and deadlift. Go cheap
