He may have said that because he was Stallone's trainer. He probably just wanted to motivate Sly. It maybe half meant, you know. I don't think there's any greater motivation in getting in shape than be offered $20M to star in an action film. Offer me that, and I'll gladly jog, lift weights and diet like hell seven days a week and 24 hours a day for 4 or 5 months if that's what it takes. Forget overtraining. Lol.

I dont get the Stallone attraction....
Looks like a smallish framed average heighted guy who has conditioned himself alot for a lean physique.
I dont see anything remotely resembling superior structure or any leg development at all.
In fact I remember seeing him running in Rocky 3 and thinking " goddamn he has no ass or hammies" and he looked slow as molasses and stiff while he was racing down the beach.
I think he is a genious of self promotion though...good for him.

Are you for real? Come on dude...How many people do you run into in your daily life that looks like Stallone then or now? I sure as heck dont see them...EVER...He was in top physical shape and still looks great. I just dont understand why people try and dog someone for not being 200+lbs or a pro bber? He is the main reason Im training again and the main reason I will never stop again...STALLONE FOREVER!!!!!!!!

How many people? A lot actually. It's not like you're talking about Jay Cutler or Dorian Yates. The thing is, Stallone is not really as great as you think he is, physique-wise. He doesn't look superhuman. He never did look superhuman. So forget Stallone and just workout. There are more inspiring bodies you can aspire to. Stallone just happens to be a celebrity.

My love of Stallone is not cause he is just an actor, but his portrail of Rocky and the story, the way he tries to teach a man to treat a woman and to love his kid..And to stand up for his beliefs. Its how this man has been workingout forever and still hanging in there when many others have failed and given up.He is still doing it...
Its more my love of a character then just Stallone. But as far as bodies go...I would rather look like Stallone as Jay or Dorian any day of the week. And from what I have heard from women, they like a body like Stallone's way more than a probber...Most people do..

If you like Stallone because he played Rocky, then you should like Rocky and not Stallone. Stallone is not Rocky in real life and he is a known womanizer. It's only now that Stallone settled down for good as a family man. What does Stallone believe that he always stood for? Do you know Stallone personally or is this all a product of your own illusion of what Stallone is in real life? Stallone working out forever? Sure, and so do thousands or even millions of men his age who are not popular that's why you don't see them. Hey, I'd rather look like Lee Labrada (who is not a freak) but has way better genetics than Stallone. You go to natural bodybuilding competition or watch seasoned middleweight bodybuilders in competiton, and you'll realize Stallone's body is after all not that great.

Well to each their own. Im not telling anyone else to like the guy like I do. I happen to not respect these so called "natural" bbers that compete. As there is no way in heaven or earth that people get that big and cut and not use gear. Sorry its true.
And many excomeditors and trainers have come out over the years and have said that anyone who trains and competes does some form of roids. Highschool kids are taking roids and its common place in all sports.
So for me Stallone taking something to get pumped up for a film is nothing major and I could care less..
He is still an inspirration to many people including me...

Exactly. Stallone didnt try and be a PROBBER, he tried to get his body in top physical shape and he succeded with great success....And still, I would bet more women would like Stallones body more than the pumped up larger, veinier, over the top bber. Matter of fact I know, as I grew up in a house full of 3 sisters, a mom and a grandma. And my wife feels the same way.
