    sweating conflicts with contacts?

I am getting a little annoyed of having sweat drip constantly throughout my eyes during football practice and games. Is there any thing I can put on my head under my helmet to combat this annoyance?

A skull cap tight of thing or Du rag. You might look a little gangsta or wanksta with one on, but it can help.

Is your helmet loose? Or is your helmet a cheap-brand helmet? My helmet was a good quality brand helmet, so it fit tight and it stopped sweat on my forehead from reaching my eyes.

I would leave a towel near where i was practicing or by the water and during my water breaks take off my helmet and wipe my face dry. u can also try a very thin headband or skullcap/du rag. Another thing you could do is carry a wristband on your wrist and when u have sometime in between drills or plays take it off and wipe your face with it. when i used to sweat i remember my eyes would burn pretty bad(also had on contacts) and bother me but a towel can help.
