Ok well my dad found out I was going to get creatine, and he didn't let my mom buy it for me (Prolab). My options now are either get a shake that is protein/creatine (which are very expensive, not much servings) or I can possibly get this Weider creatine capsules from wal-mart and put it in a flaxseed bottle and my dad will never know. Does anybody know the quality of the Weider creatine? I know it is better to have powder form but will it still work the same as say Prolab or Creapure? Here is a link, reps for help.

creatine mono does not have to be taken pre workout or at any given time, just make sure you get between 3g and 6g a day, from 1 or 2 serving.
I take 2-3g with my breakfast shake and 2-3g with my post workout shake and get good result. Some people like to take it with powder form gatorade.Lactate threshold can suck my balls.

x2 and make sure you take it with high glycemic carbs like dextrose, or just put it in grape juice and protein. The high glcemic carbs provides an insulin spike, and that will help shuttle the creatine into your muscles. Remember: there's a difference between plasma creatine content and intramuscular creatine content.
Personally though, you're 15 and you should use your youth and naturally high testosterone (with good diet and lifting of course) to make gains. You don't really need that stuff yet.

Thanks, ironhead, so i will just take the protein post-workout with the creatine so I can get them together. After the workout I will absorb the protein better into my muscles, and I guess the insulin will spike the creatine into my muscles as well. Is there any other juices that are good for it. I am staying in a hotel and there are some free juices I can get after I work out... but only apple and cranberry.

Hahaha yea right... my dad will give me an hour speech about dextrose being a steroid and I am getting way out of hand with bodybuilding. Then I will try and explain to him calmly what it is, and he will interrupt me before I start with his eyes bulging out of his head and tell me he doesn't want to hear it and walk away.

Number one, if your parents don't condone your use of supplements, they are still the boss of you so long as you are a minor and they are your legal guardians. But since I doubt you'll heed their rules, no, creatine is not creatine.

I don't know your situation exactly....
but parents just look out for their kids and try to protect them.
no parent wants their kid dying before they do.
not sayin creatine would do that...but your dad doesn't know that!
perhaps you could try and educate your dad a little more?
if your dad won't listen, educate your mum so she can educate him.

Yes I fully understand this, and have known this for a while now. I have tried to explain everything to my dad. My mom did research, and despite the fact they won't admit everything says there has been no bad side affects except muscle growth (and diarrhea due to taking more than the recommended dose) they don't want me to take it. I understand, because there has not been much long term research at all. If I cannot get ahold of it big deal my ON whey is coming in today hard work will get me where I want to be.
